Thai is still best
Better than the Korean and Chinese versions, not as good as the Thai. The MIL was a bit weird in this one. I get that they were trying to humanize her, but she went from one extreme to another too quickly to be believable. I do like how F4 seemed to be able to step in and do more with their money and influence in this version (that was always something that bugged me in other versions).Weird that it has a second season set 10 years later with different characters.

Yowzas!
First of all, woah. I didn't know a C-drama could get that steamy and make it past the censors! This show wasn't bad. I'm not used to the 12 minute episode format, so that was a big jarring. The villians were too over the top and not well developed, the male lead needed to learn the meaning of consent and boundaries, and the female lead demanding automatic trust (because of love) after lying through her teeth so many times really bothered me. But the story kept me interested, and despite a few rhings, I was rooting for a happy ending for the leads. I liked the ML a lot in Snowfall but yowzas! He took hotness to the next level here.

Amazing!
This is one of the rare gems that not only gets people hooked on K-dramas, but it's also nearly perfect. The plot is a bit like Back to the Future mixed with That Thing You Do, but it's more intricate, interesting, heartfelt, and compelling. It goes beyond the common tropes we see in time travel stories and delves deep into the heart of struggles of the deaf community in a beautiful way that anyone can relate to. The characters and relationships in this drama are so rich and moving that they'll stay with you long after the last episode. Was this review helpful to you?
Definitely worth watching!
This was a really neat look into the brocade industry-I had no idea how cool it was! Absolutely fascinating to see the process and understand why we heard about things like The Silk Road being so important in history class. It also gives me more appreciation for all the costume designs and intricate patterns in dramas. Someone must have spent years researching to write this. The story itself was great. Strong FL that used her brain instead of plot armor. There wasn't as much chemistry between the leads as I'd like, but the romance was still sweet. I loved the development of the side characters as well. Definitely worth watching!

One of the best fantasies!
A rich fantasy world that I want to revisit again and again, an engrossing story, great cast, beautiful cinematography, and satisfying ending. While some things were a bit cheesy (like the special effects) and a bit over the top (the drama of the story is a bit much sometimes), it's hard to stop watching it, even though I've seen it before. I loved it even more the second time.I also love that some of the side characters were so popular that a sequel was made to give them a better ending!

Good Comfort Drama
Cute story that vibes a bit like Hidden Love but a bit older age group. Very slow paced slice of life. Solid cast, nice story. I enjoyed how the leads help each other grow and don't have a massivly toxic relationship like so many other dramas. But the last few episodes were so slow, uneventful, and predictable, that I probably could have skipped it and just watched the last few scenes of the show and been fine. There was so weird focus on side characters at times that could have been interesting but felt random and inconsistent
Overall, worth the watch.. It was a nice, relaxing comfort drama that I really did enjoy.
But how do these actors look even younger now than in their previous roles?

Could have been better
This was a weird one. The beginning is very confusing (especially how the FL and her mother were separated and that she's transmigrated into a book). There was absolutely zero chemistry between the leads. The story seemed rushed, even for a short. It seems like someone put this drama together in a hurry instead of planning and plotting. Just plain lazy writing. But the ending was cute? Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful and funny but...
A 33 episode long journey that felt like 103 episodes. It moved so slow, and yet, so much happened within those 33 episodes, it's kind of surreal. Ibenjoyed the characters and the fantasy world was neat, but there was just too many plot points and overly emotional moments packed in there (kind of like someone had a limit of one suitcase so they crammed everything in, jumped on in, and laid on top of it to zip it closed.) The result was my eyes rolling at yet another life and death scene, a final few episodes that had me tapping my watch to be sure it hadn't stopped, and a very cliche and predictable ending. That said, I loved the cast, loved the music, costumes, scenery, and cinematography.

Surprising!
I watched this on iqiyi under the title "A Noble Romance."I loved the ending! You don't see many complex and interesting villians like this. The characters were fun, flirty, and surprising. The plot was a lot like other dramas but managed to keep a lighter tone even when the stakes were high.

Great but not my personal favorite
I put off watching this one for far too long but ultimately had to because it's been recommended by so many friends and for the cast.Overall, great drama but not my favorite genre, so less stars from me for personal bias. It seemed a bit too long. Great cast, complex characters that aren't just straight up black and white, and an intricate plot that challenges ethical questions. The love story was sweet but not overly compelling to me. She could have ended up with the 2nd ML, and I might have felt just the same.
I didn't like how dumbed down the FL's character was compared to the ML. Yes, naturally, we all have strengths and weaknesses, but she seemed to exist solely to make the ML improve and move thr story on his own. I know I'm being a bit dramatic here, but for some reason, she really bothers me.
It's also sad that they wrote such deep characters but made the main behind the scenes villain so one sided. Yes, she had a little depth to her, but the transition from one side to another was jarring and weird.
Maybe the biggest thing that put me off, (and again, this is my personal bias) is that even as adults, the leads still seemed like teenagers. It was almost like watching them solve a Scooby Doo mystery. It was hard to take them seriously in their adult roles and careers.
While, like I said before, it's not my favorite genre, I did appreciate a story that was driven by a plot where romance was less centralized and incorporated so intricately.

Cute but cliche
Watched on iqiyi under the title "Love Genius: Master of Romance"Cute but cliche. The FL was adorable, and I loved her personality. The ML was gorgeous but a bit 1-dimensional.

What a fun ride! I hope there's a sequel.
Adorable and funny. Strong female lead that doesn't take crap from anyone (which is a very nice change from delicate effeminate female leads that we see way too often) but is still full of heart and purpose. The male lead was freaking adorable! Loved his changes from stiff CEO to lovesick puppy.Loved it! Wish it was longer.
Only negative things for me:
*It's a bit weird that she's still 18 but the guys pursuing her (even though they're technically her age) are 29.
*I felt kind of cheated at the ending, but maybe they'll give us a sequel?
*The romance isn't well developed, which is fine if this is a part 1, but not as a standalone.

A fun change
A fun change from the usual cliches. Lots of funny moments. Reminds me a bit of She's The Man (but not even close to being as good). The last few episodes surprised me but in a scratching my head asking "Why?" kind of way. The ending itself was fine, but getting there was a bit awkward. Was this review helpful to you?
