I suspect you may have misconstrued the plot somewhat. Perhaps re-watch the episode. If you receive a direction from a King/Emperor you do as you are told. No sniffing to check if tea is poisoned. Also the murder of the Fabric Office girls, they are not in charge of the spies only Ms. Ju was the spy, the rest are just maids undertaking their daily chores. It was murder along the lines of pure evil. Finally, and my last comment re your comments. There is a long way to go with this drama and the FL was probably chosen for her ability to enact a role which requires a range of ages, the least of which is the time when she is around 20 yrs old. They had an actress to portray her as a young girl. For goodness sake do not watch Rebel Princess as that actress had to play the role of a 15 year old! As to the writing well i think its great. So we differ in opinion. Have a good weekend!

Just watched episode 19 this drama is superb, the actor selection for their parts are so on point. I love love love this drama. Such an emotional episode. Wonderful to at last have such an engrossing and watchable drama to view. The direction, cinematography, acting and screenwriting are top notch.

Loving this drama such interesting characters great script. Agree with princegyfn the Emperor is such a complex character I can see him with the FL even though I would like to see her with her Shifu.

This drama is just PUERILE - watching Novoland Pearl Eclipse, so far well written, great plot, superb acting. The FL in Rebirth For You could take some lessons in how to portray desire/passion from Yang Mi who is able to express it with her eyes, thus a relatively chaste kiss can appear steamy. For goodness sake lets not see those cringy super fast pecks on the cheek from Joseph Zeng in future, its childish and just emphasizes the total lack of normal sexual tension between grown ups.

Hello I would recommend My Little Happiness for a contemporary drama that is enjoyable with Daddi Tang, who acts like a man who wants his woman. None of this puerile rubbish that serves for romance. I also enjoy Korean dramas, Mr Queen is fun clever and a good watch. Empress Ki does have a sad ending however it is a great drama with beautiful OST. The Wolf (Chinese drama) also was quite gripping but not a happy ending. If you can hold out until all episodes are done Novoland Pearl Eclipse is panning out to be a great watch. I prefer my drama with a bit of meatiness. Another contemporary drama and an oldie but goody is the Korean drama Fated to Love You (with Jang Hyuk) has a happy ending and was my introduction to Korean drama. Goodbye my Princess is also very watchable but not a happy ending, this was my introduction to Chinese drama. A happy ending for me is not that important. Again what I may see as great may not appeal to someone else. A light drama with a happy ending and an easy watch is Your Sensibility My Destiny. Eternal Love (with a sexy Mark Chao) has a happy ending and an edge to it.

Oh I forgot that little close mouth peck on the lips - thank you I ended up looking and FF episodes 29 and 30 and the dialogue when I did watch was painful. Looking back it appears you get 2 crap eps followed by 2 barely watchable eps then 2 that almost make the grade. Watching an oldie Lan Ling Wan - now there is a story with decent dialogue. I know it has a sad ending likewise Goodbye My Princess however for me they are quality drama. I know they churn out these dramas more often than I have a baked dinner and it is the time of the year when the good stuff does not get released. So I will leave it at that and again thank you for your reminder. Cheers

Yes I do recall that we were all waiting and waiting however when it did transpire there was a modicum of true love/lust as would ne the norm in reality providing the couples actually liked/loved each other. All those hormones are being ignored in this drama. It is just too pure for my taste.

OK no kissing (except on the cheek) only hugging and a married couple that act more like brother and sister. Goodness can we possibly have a more PURE relationship, I doubt it. The main leads were quite cute before the DEED now not so much. Poor Li Qian is praying for 2 children it must be via immaculate conception ........ cause it looks like wifey ain't into it. The Gao chick finally had some bad karma come her way and now we have amnesia/drugging of some sort via the second prince. The writer also copied the mouldy rice and associated death scenario from Jun Jui Ling . I am dropping this at episode 28. As a side bar yes Joseph Zeng is nicely ripped, a bit of eye candy in amongst all the boredom. Going to give Empress Ki another crack until something quality comes my way. Even the dryness of The Palace of Devotion is more appealing.

The screenwriter for this drama was involved in THE LEGEND OF YUN XI if you recall that drama was draggy towards the end and had a crappy ending. The writer is not listed to have undertaken any dramas since TLOYZ in 2018. Already reading that the plot is showing some laziness and taking too long with the revolting Ms Gao. Well I suppose if you are going to extend a storyline that should have only taken 24 episodes to 40 then you have to keep the evildoer around to pad out the episodes. I am expecting the worst perhaps that will not eventuate.

Right on I hope to see Jin Han in more dramas and that the revolting discourse regarding his looks ceases. How cra cra are these fans even saying that Ren Jia Lun was too handsome....... for goodness sake some people should take a good hard look at themselves and their possible lack of good looks, before they spew their venom against hard working actors doing their best to entertain them.
