And of course, there were scenes related to the fallen soldier, but personally, I didn’t feel that emotional. It was nice to watch the actor, though. He played Wei Wuxian’s brother in The Untamed. It would have been nice to keep watching him in this series as well.
Honestly, I’m more interested in the side characters rather than the main ones. The scene between Benjamin and Saxin in the last episode was beautiful. Even though they constantly clash, Benjamin still protected and helped Saxin in some way. Enemies to lovers for them… Anyway, I’m curious about what will happen to Benjamin in the upcoming episodes and what kind of relationship he will have with the doctor. Since he is currently on duty, I don’t think he has undergone any physical or mental evaluation or received any diagnosis, but it’s very clear that he is mentally struggling after the deaths of both Rina and his soldier friend.
Also, I see people in the comments calling those who ship Benjamin and Saxin disgusting. Chill out, guys. China is a deeply homophobic country, and the chances of having a BL couple in the show are zero. Just relax, lol. But if they were a couple, it would be *chef’s kiss*. Besides, Zan’s gaze totally gives away how he feels. I really enjoyed his acting in this series. And unfortunately, there is no chemistry between the FL and ML.
