Yes, ju jingyi's expressions as villains were very interesting. But I have never seen such a character as a villain/obsessed…
Yes, sadly, SZ is only present for 2 episodes, and her character is used merely as a plot device. However, if they had made SZ the female lead, we would have gotten interesting character development. While obsession isn't healthy, she could have transformed into a better version of herself because of her love for the ML.
I am really enjoying the suspense, and the overall story.
But my problem is that I can't fully engage with plots involving face swap or body swap scenarios. Except for the ML, everyone seems to recognize that she is YCW easily.
I still can't accept the fact that the ML loves the FL so intensely when they've only known each other for a short time. Since the ML and YCW only met in childhood and were separated for a long time, there isn't enough opportunity for deep feelings to develop between them. He seems to want to marry her out of pity, feeling remorseful for not taking care of her during difficult times, or perhaps because of a marriage contract. And YCW also doesn't seem to feel anything for the ML. She easily suspects him. If she doesn't trust or love him, why did she agree to marry him in the first place?
If they had made the real YCW dead and SZ the female lead, that would be more interesting.
Ju Jing Yi's acting as a villain in the first two episodes is really cool. I kind of want the whole drama to be like that.π₯² I'm just used to her playing good characters. Now, I'm on episode 5, and although the plot isn't particularly new, I'm really enjoying it.π
I think we are in the minority here. I stopped watching the show because I didn't like how Zhao Lusi acted as…
I am just expressing my opinion, and you are calling me a hater. I rate the drama based on my liking of the story and how much I enjoyed it, not because of a particular actress. I liked Zhao Lusi's acting in ROTAR and The Long Ballad, and I rated them 10.
Just my opinion. Fans don't need to get triggered. I just dropped this drama because of the FL. I liked the acting…
I think we are in the minority here. I stopped watching the show because I didn't like how Zhao Lusi acted as a teenager. She acted more like a 7-year-old than a 17-year-old, and it got really annoying. No offense to Zhao Lusi; she's great in The Long Ballad.
I considered watching this drama because it was labeled as having strong female lead. But after reading the comments below, I've decided to move it into the "not interested" category. I'm glad the FL didn't end up with any of the leads.
I don't like BL genre but someone who has read the novel tell me is this BL core meaning like Thai BLs? or anyone…
Don't even compare Chinese BLs to Thai BL dramas. Chinese BLs are really good; they have interesting stories to tell. I haven't read the novel, but I've seen the dramas by the same author, such as Legend of Fei and Guardian are highly recommended.
I am not going to watch this drama if they change CZY because of stupid fan wars. CZY has the potential to carry the entire drama on his own. He doesn't deserve this hate.
Wei Zhe Ming, is playing supporting role in this drama, over the past 6 months i saw him in 6 or 7 dramas . this guy is everywhere lol.. I hope he would get more main roles..π
This show would have been amazing without love story. I really like the leads as siblings or they can end up as best buddies. And love triangle is even more disgusting.
This is exactly how i felt about the plot.. the friendship aspect didn't really connect to me.. ML and 2FL had barely interacted with each other. i didn't even get why 2FL even fall for ML. The transition from friendship to romance between ML and FL feels rushed and lacks depth. But overall it is a decent story. I like your review..
The first time I watched Handsome Siblings, i don't even have words how much i love CZY's Xiaoyu'er. He does very good job in expressing his emotions and reactions. i liked his acting in our secret and princess and werewolf. now in SF4 he plays naive and childish character so well. His acting always pulls me in to the story in all his dramas. i want to see him more in costume dramas.
this is exactly what I liked about this drama. But I am also curious about what will happen when she knows his real identity.
