What a sh*t ending lol they didn’t even gave a good reason to die, it was plain stupidity to ignore the other guy was still not dead

I don't know about this rule, there is rape in Princess Agents, Renaissance, another one about two sisters that I don't remember the name, I mean rape is not new on Cdramaland.

It is fiction, obviously nobody here supports assault in real life, but hey, there is a reason why there is many many books and stories with such characters, and usually those are super popular, and this show knows how to do it perfectly.

This show has such a good and promising beginning but it let me down on the long run. The long dialogues are so boring, the scene when YY tells YD he knew about her giving him half her heart was so lackluster, YY being drunk? Really? Why not have his normal sober self deciding to speak, sigh...I wish Yang Zi and Cheng Yi had a better script writer, the pairing is bigger than the production...also, all those actors from Love and Redemption...don’t get me wrong but many with such poor acting, much like Jaywalk productions with good actors in leading roles and many other thrown there for marketing.

The ending was perfect for me, it was logical, every thread tied, it actually surpassed my expectation for the ending.

Looks like Blue Whisper ending, without logical, the Ml dies and then comeback in a last scene that does not makes sense with the rest of the episode.

I honestly don’t think it is OOC, because we watched many episodes of how he went from killing machine to a actual leader concerned for his people and his family. The first DFQC would want war and fight, the current wants peace and good life for his people and fight only if provoked. All those scenes about the moon tribe warriors and the old lady weren’t for nothing.

Yes, it was fated she’s would sacrifice to stop the war, but it was not fated they would fall in love.

Also the “everyday” life is reminiscent of the time he lived with her watching her do her daily things and it is his favorite version of her because the first thing he asks her when they arrive in Moon Tribe is for her to treat him the same way she did when they were in Arbite Hall.

The pacing is super fast, if it was regular xianxias, the dream would take two episodes, the quest to Arbiter would take three to four episodes, we would see the fireflies, the boat scene...this drama wrap up everything in one episode...
