She always like the same dramas: BL, Detective (the most boring you can find out there), also the dramas with the following actors in it: Wang Kai, Hu Ge, Zhao Liying, Crystal Liu, the leads fro Guardian...some others...when some of the dramas with those actors are utterly trash, she will always blame the writer for not adapting the novel well, and most of the time will go over any problem she will find in all other dramas. She dislikes Yang Zi, she likes to bring up her plastic surgery and her father when one praises Yang Zi on her lives...anyway, the only people that takes her seriously are newbies on cdramaland.

I like the character so far, he didn't do anything that really bothered me, but the actor is giving a very bland acting, his expressions are always the wide open eyes, the forced smile, very bland acting...

He also tried to approach YD again when he recovered without telling her he knows everything respecting her decision to protect her sister. To bad YD decided to avoid any approach.

They did a very poor casting, the actor is doing nothing to make Yumo more interesting...

I see many people claiming this is similar to AOL, I don't see how....I love AOL, and it is totally different. ML in AOL was a proud and arrogant royal Phoenix (I love Phoenix btw), SML was the second prince, kind like Loki, int he way he turns dark after he discovers his true birth origin, also he was engaged to the FML since birth. FML was an Ice Flower princess, dumb because her mother gave her a pill to never fall in love to avoid her tribulation, she goes to ML palace after she saves him and asks to be taken from flower realm.

IS, the ML is mixed race deity sovereign, is always busy and is burdened with his duty and can't show his flirty and playfull personality, SML is a prince from another race, FML is a very smart and witty fairy, from a famous clan, but to protect her sister plays dumb, and has a very audacious goal to become the best scriptwriter. The love ban thing is a law that is still a mystery why it exists but they feel love, is not like Jin Mi.

So I fail to see how are they similar, some tropes and cliches are there, but so are in all other Xianxias...

There are a bunch of dramas inferior to this one in both writing and directing with more than 8.6...unfortunately there is some kind of competitions between fandoms and even between Xianxias that will interfere in the rating.

The problem with her is that she is biased. Some shows has the same tropes she “hates” but because her faves are in it she completely ignores while in others she will bring up things that even didn’t happened the way she says. Just watch out, to watch her videos ok but know she is extremely biased.

AvenueX still has any credibility at all? Everybody knows her true colors up to now, bring her up here is as effective as your posts to disturb people, don’t you feel tired of being ignored?

I like that TZ is suspicious of Zilin even tho he isn’t from a world where people believe in the celestial realm. Very well written that dialogue.

I feel you, I think his personality is too plain? And he looks plain, I miss some spice on his character, when he was sluggishly listening to the clans I was almost sleeping with him lol

It does not have the same marketing and some shows had, Love and Redemption, for example. Although you don’t feel it is blowing up because there’s no marketing, it is very popular in China, it is more popular than ALP, that received lots of criticism in China and had few views on YouTube during first release.
