Honestly changing the ending just because of audience won't make sense because anything in this drama doesn't make sense anyways. HJP's having an ending with DM after having some romantic moves on her still would have but DM like a idiot still loves NDS even after 3 years. But they prefer to always give that time to NDS.

I always think why did the writer made it so tough for NDS that many can't like his personality. Whereas the HJP was easily lovable. In the end if NDS is endgame ofc logic to make him endgame is zero because people aren't able to like ML.
