acting shown since Chinese Paladin?? I don't agree. I first saw her as a supporting role for Hu Ge in Xuan Yuan Sword and she was already so amazing. Then I watched her in 9 Tail Fox and she was amazing again.
I think everything sort of went downhill after Chinese Paladin. I find her acting great in Chinese Paladin, I dropped that show because I didn't like the male lead, he did great in Wu Xin but his acting in Chinese Paladin is just such a huge throw off. If anything, he should be getting the hate instead of Nazha. I also like Joe and misses him from Started With a Kiss but his character was 2 timing so that's another thing that led me to drop the show. I didn't like the leads nor 2nd leads, but the casts were all amazing, that's for sure. I believe it was fear of Nazha becoming famous, she got marketing attack since Chinese Paladin.
I finished Mountains of seas, but I didn't really like the show. It's not her acting, but the script, it was very foolish. I think that led to further bullying and marketing attacks. I agree it was thanks to tons of bad opportunities and casting with wrong people that led to her downfall. On top of that, her unfortunate private life matters was exposed, and "someone" is clearly targetting her all the time with all those silly marketing attacks. Luck was not her side. Finally, Glory is proving me right, I always say it's not her acting. Those picking on her acting and saying she's "too pretty to act" are the same water armies attacking Dilraba, anything they say is not reliable, we know who can act but just constantly landing on bad projects.

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD (costume show) AIRING AT THIS TIME, although Chen Xingxu is a long time actor I never really know him. I am just so so glad to get to watch 2 of his dramas in a row this month, he really won me over and I don't even like contemporary. He manages to get me to watch 2 of his contemporary, that is how amazing he is. I am glad he gets paired up with great female leads. If not because of Lu Yuxiao I wouldn't pick up Love Between Lines and fell for Chen Xingxu. Although I love Lu Yuxiao, I wasn't going to pick up a contemprory because it's just not my type of thing. But it is really a great timing, like I said, nothing good is airing at all, costume show wise. I also love Wang Yuwen. He has great chemistry with both ladies. Both dramas kept me on my feet while waiting for more episodes. I even dropped Glory, but finished Love Between Lines (still rewatching), and dying for more episodes from My Pages in the 90s.

I was a bit sad after Love Between Lines ended. It was a great show. I usually do not watch contemporary, but I am rewatching Love Between Lines again. I'm so happy that My Pages in the 90s is also airing right after. I am watching it right now, also very interested in it. I didn't realize he was in Goodbye My Princess, that wasn't my cup of tea, and back then I didn't find him attractive. He was still young at that time, I really think after aging, it makes him look very masculine and handsome. All the Chinese actors I like, I like them through costume drama. However, I LOOOOOOOOVE all those things about LYX and they're all what makes her so real. Ancient costumes are huge so she's acting very natural with them, she's not being pretentious. The way she handles them isn't the same all the time either, she was so elegant in and COOL in My Journey to You, yet, a bit clumsy but sassy and smart as Li Sanniang in Perfect Match. Don't judge the way a person walks, she does waddle a little bit bc that's how she naturally walks due to her legs. I don't know if they should be called flaws but I like them so much and they're what makes her so unique. While I don't view LYX as a great beauty, she is extremely attractive, and very screen addicting. I love her natural voice, she has a beautiful voice and I'm so glad she always dubs herself. I don't think she gets the best scripts and everything all the time, but she's highly captivating that I would manage to watch through most of her things all the time and always anticipating more from her. I usually don't watch contempory, and now, I'm so hooked to Love Between Lines. Hoping she receives recognitions she deserves.

Her expressions don't match the emotions because she tries way too hard. After marketing that hard, she is definitely too guilty and distracted.

Esther Yu is a very controversial person. I wouldn't say she doesn't play marketing at all, but she doesn't play it as stupidly as Zhao Liying does so I'm not annoyed at Esther yet. I can tell you're not a real fan of Esther bc you seem to hate Li Yitong and give her drama bad rating, and Esther doesn't see LYT as a threat but it's Zhao Liying who sees her threatful. You want to bring wedges between Yang Mi's fans and Esther's fans. You can give it up, a few of us only bring out ZLY because she openly market like a bish for many years. Esther has been around for a while but still considered new, her marketing and controversies are still not pushing the button yet, but if she persists with this attitude, she will become the next hateful Zhao Liying everyone looks down on. Marketing everyday, honing no skill, attacking peers everyday. People like that, where ever they go, everyone avoid and wouldn't interact with. Esther is very sociable so I don't think she will want to walk that path.

Not only was her acting fall short. Her drama has zero quality.

1. 2015 Journey of flower - plotless, the only purpose of that show is for her character to be PITIFUL and being miserable for no reason, all the other female characters were hateful, even making the male lead hateful and making the CP unshippable. But she managed to pay her fans making the CP worked, to Wallace Huo's gullible surpise back then not knowing anything. No one had ever been so shameless like that before that's why he never knew or suspected her until years later, he finally knew why their CP was that insane compare to all of his other high quality works from the past when JOF is such bullcrap.

2. 2016 Legend of Chusen - plotless, the whole story never moved. Her character was supposed to die early but she refused, and she stole all of Yang Zi's scripts. Had this shamelessness been anyone else they would've been cancelled by the public already, but she managed to pay fans to protect her ass that she didn't do any of that. Like shit? NOT EVEN HALF of the story was filmed, cause she refused to step down, even hire fans to say nasty things to Yang Zi and still has the face to say she's innocent. Like bish, what med are you on?

3. 2017 Princess Agent - plotless. She doesn't have a single talent to star in Wuxia and martial arts theme, she couldn't even film half the story.

4. 2018 Ming Lan - boring, couldn't even act. She looked dumb, nothing smart for the character.

5. 2019, scandals. Did not film the whole year but managed to be on top search the whole year relying on scandals.

I don't mind.
But I am annoyed at how she steps on others, and it gets unforgivable. Not acceptable.

After marrying FSF and gaining tons of resources from him, he literally introduced her to Li Bing Bing and she wons part of the company with her, then she divorced him. She marketed how he mistreated her, and say nasty stuff about his mom. Just a few days ago, already created rumors that FSF and Jing Tian got married.
After seeing the success of Legend of Zhuohua, Jing Tian portrayed great acting skills as a talented doctor, smart scholar, smart government official, funny poetic, etc. she got so jealous that she started marketing how Jing Tian was "copying" her and even dating FSF.

Other actresses i.e. Ren Min (Rise of Ning), Meng Ziyi (Blossom), Chen Duling (The Glory), Yang Zi (Flourised Peony) all got attacked and compared with her. The funny thing is how RON, Blossom, TG, FP, don't even compare against each other and fight when their airing dates were closer together compare to how Story of Minglan was already old from 2018. She only relied on TSOM being a "Daylight production" and marketed that it's great when it was confusing, horribly scripted, plotless, and boring as heck. She marketed on it so hard that she fears her hard work on marketing would go to waste if the new actresses overpowered her.

After so many years of attacking Yang Mi, just recently, YM is very successful and here she goes again. Marketing and marketing like a bish, making comparisons, playing pitiful, accusing Yang Mi of her "foxy" appearance while she looks "innocent" and works harder. Marketing too hard, it is.
