A very Low-key revenge story
I think for it being a vertical drama, they did pretty well. The story was muddled and a little bleh in the beginning because nothing was really explained, they just jumped in. WAY further into the show, you finally see everything spelled out and the characters were getting more development. I will say even though there were flaws, I still really liked it and the end was rushed but it was still kind of a shocker. cute for what it was
i started watching this because the boy from Choco Milkshake was in it and tbh i went into it blind lol. I was expecting a cute sweet swimming romance. Well, it was inherently a cute swimming romance(ish). Theres a bunch of trauma between all three male leads so they don't know how to communicate or talk about their feelings. Its a bit frustrating at times and a little disjointed but i would def recommend it for a quick little watch that has a cute little ending.Was this review helpful to you?
It was an experience
I started watching this because it said that the MFL was getting revenge against the man who murked her family in front of her. Initially thats how it started but it turned into a battle between the dad and the son for MFL. If they didnt market it as a revenge story, I would have rated this so much higher. Not spoiling it but theres not THAT much revenge. The music was really loud in some parts and I will say theres a trigger warning for the son being very forceful on the female lead. So if that will throw you off then i say stay back from this one. Otherwise it was an okayish watch.Was this review helpful to you?
I love a good vertical drama
I'll be honest, I watched the trailer and it looked like a good murdery time. I thought it would be a thriller murder with maybe the lover joining in but thats not what it was. Instead it was a fluffy, angsty romance with "some" murder mixed in. The beginning started off strong with the murder vibes but then after that it was just funny and romantical. i had to stop watching midway
It started off okay with the girl meets boy who she had a crush with and they have a one night stand. he pays her and tells her like thats it. but somehow he gets REAL obsessed with her and its toxic and annoying af. I watched as much as i did because the childhood friend was so sweet and cute. If you like a choppy story, aggressive music during some moments, and a VERY toxic male lead then this is for you. Its labeled on iqiyi as a revenge love story but all I saw was male lead being possessive and female lead being poor and righteous.Was this review helpful to you?
