Clicked on this one in YT without expecting something. It scream low-budget film and the cinematography is not great. However, I was hooked with its story telling with deaf character. I was honestly wondering why the main is not communicating properly, only to find out that he is deaf which added to the short films drama.

Lol. I think I'll skip this one then it it has no solid story.

Saw that this series had ended. I was able to watch the first episode, but had to put it on-hold because there were a lot of BLs coming out last year, and I want to watch this in one go. However, I am kind of afraid to :
1. Waste my time watching (because a lot of reviews are bad)
2. Find out my gut feeling is right that it's a waste of time (because I ignore the reviews and did watch it)

But I like the first season, so I guess my question is, is this on par with Season 1?

The kissing scene on the bride/footbridge/whatever, reminded me and brings back the kilig of Gameboy's plastic shield kiss and GB's ending kiss. OMG.

Yep. He played that role years ago. And his acting in this show really do shine.

I too believe that was the case. There was a flashback wherein Shi De record Yi’s crying etc,. When Yi jumped into the water and took time before surfacing, Shi De, jumped too to give oxygen to Yi.

But PND was written by a woman. A writer who had been writing queer stories and a self, identified queer woman. So the premise you stated is invalidated. :)
