That was clearly a typo and English isn’t even my first language but I can tell I am better at English than you because I am actually educated unlike you :))))
okay.. but did you know that dreadlocks actually come from greece?
I’m not from America, I’m literally born and bred in South Africa. You do know that black people live in other areas in the world besides America right ??? Issue with people like you is that you jump to conclusions without trying to understand anything.
1. Who the fuck said it was just a cultural appropriation issue???2. Don’t you dare tell Black people how to…
I am allowed to be angry, especially when people downplay the affects of negative stereotyping of Black people in foreign media and what it can lead to.
I would also like to add that I am very much aware of the heavy negative stereotyping that Russians face in American media - I think it's wrong and stupid propaganda how they portray Russians as evil communists all the time but when people look at you, the first thing they see will not be the fact that you are from the USSR unlike me as Black person, my race has affected the way I have been treated without me even opening my mouth.
That's the big difference between the two of us Kiddo !
Anyways, I am done fighting with racists in the comments lol, I like my peace too. Maybe I will reply every now and then but it is tiring speaking to ignorant people who have no intent of trying to understand you.
Dreadlocks have a history rooted in the African continent beginning with the ancient Egyptians, but not necessarily…
No one said the world revolves around us Marta, literally no one said that, but when something that does actually affect us occurs we are definitely going to call it out. Also LOOOOL I am a history major and I hate to break it to you but ancient Egyptians were BLACK AFRICANS just like how some Egyptians still identify with being Black today. The only reason there is a percentage of Egyptians that identify with other religions or races is because of the Macedonian, Roman and Arab conquests that happened through the years. So you should be the one to stop making stuff up like you stated there in your little spiel.
Can you black people stop playing the eternal victims for one second ? His first character (the countryside bumbkin)…
You are actually quite dense because a Korean person being cliche and insulting towards a Korean dialect is not the same as a Korean person being insulting towards Black people that is just called racism love <3 :| You clearly lack basic racial literacy skills.
okay.. but did you know that dreadlocks actually come from greece?
I will state this AGAIN, there is a big difference in "stereotyping" Italians in a classy, worldly luxurious way (a stereotype that will not do them any harm) as opposed to stereotyping Black people as violent angry thugs (a stereotype that literally gets Black people unjustly killed by the police) :|
When did I say "stereotyping some minorities was allowed" ? & also saying "Every rapper in America looks like that" uhm ??? no they do not, I can name countless rappers who don't which is literally besides the point.
And the fact he posted it on tiktok instead of insta (over 1M followers) amazed me lol. They always state they…
In my opinion its worse that he did this because he literally grew up in America from 7 till 22 so he should have some understanding of racial literacy ???? Also in todays socio-political climate, claiming ignorance is just not going to work anymore.
okay.. but did you know that dreadlocks actually come from greece?
Dude stereotyping a nationality in a playful way is waaaay different to stereotyping a race in a disrespectful harmful way. What are you not getting here ?
Some people are really sick in their head over all of this cultural appropriation stuff. Please just stop it!…
1. Who the fuck said it was just a cultural appropriation issue???
2. Don’t you dare tell Black people how to feel EVER especially since you’ve never walked a mile in our shoes nor do you know how harmful stereotypes like that can be.
3. You excusing the show saying they didn’t intend to disrespect African Americans makes no sense whatsoever because SBS has literally already been called out with backstreet rookie when they did it last year.
