But to your point, sml from Cheer Up is the worst I’ve been in a kdrama. What’s more concerning is the amount of ppl that were having SLS over that sml. He could not take NO for an answer. What sort of bubbles do these people live in to not find that creepy? FL was literally begging him to leave her alone yet he was still pressuring her to take him. Honestly, he was one maybe two steps away from crossing certain lines considering how obsessive he got. And these ppl not only had SLS, they were bashing fl for rejecting him 🤡

1.) This individual knowingly put themselves between two people where there was only ever going to have one outcome. They will inevitably get forced out, and hurt themselves in the process. So it’s pathetic whenever they start crying about it.
2.) This other individual fully aware there are things that need to be addressed/resolved first with their official unofficial lover, yet they decide to lead on the pathetic individual mentioned above. You might argue it’s just some sort of escapism from their current ongoing crisis with their official unofficial lover, but it’s just using other people, plain and simple. Like, I’m hurting and I don’t wanna deal with the root cause of that pain at all. Let me just drag this other person into this mess too, and use them as a placeholder for my emotional needs. I know I’m probably going to hurt them, but my feelings matter more.
3.) This individual with all their wisdom made their own lead characters extremely unlikable, and to top that they made them out to be cheaters as well. How cute.

No, I get what you mean. There are legit people that ships FL with a SML who won’t take no for an answer. Even when FL begs and pleads she doesn’t not share those feelings ppl ships them still. They’ll even go as far as to insult FL for rejecting SML. Sometimes I wonder what kind of bubbles these ppl live in to not see how problematic not taking no for an answer gets with matters like romance/feelings. Things can get pretty dark quick

Seriously, can we really fault them when the show itself is forcing SML agenda down our throat? Even promotion teasers on official YT channel have been “oh look at what SML and FL are up to now” for past couple days. There’s been one too many “moments/scenes” between SML&FL, and to top that there’s also been one too many things SML is getting to do that should be exclusive to ML. We’re witnessing SML feelings for FL literally being manifested into existence in real time and it’s a choice made by show creators. Bandage 🩹 scene from the preview says it all. It is super unnecessary to have FL actually puts the bandage on for SML herself when she could’ve just handed it to him. It’s exactly the type of “in your face” superficial FL&SML moment and there have been plenty more.
And why not let SML have upper hand over ML especially when FL is involved. SML is getting a lot of joy with FL right in front of ML. It’s so much so we see ML having to resort to cheap blatant excuses to put himself between FL&SML or to stop FL&SML interacting. Trying to make ML jealous is one thing, but they’re not only elevating SML to such a high point, they’ve somewhat tainted ML character. SML is actually calling out ML for forcing FL to leave his side.
Again I ask, how can we not expect some people(actually quite a big number) to not get Second Lead Syndrome when the show itself forces so much SML agenda?
Ppl are beyond brainwashed with second lead syndrome bs that they’ll root for guys with zero self-respect, fully aware they’re 2nd choice(in the worst way), and can’t take NO for an answer.
This Drama would still be just as much emotionally satisfying with zero kiss scenes. All thanks to romance between the leads unfolding so naturally and organically. Just hugs only would’ve been plenty enough. Because ML&FL communicate openly and lots, something very much under utilized these days to the point where it’s almost groundbreaking to see between the leads. Nowadays most dramas will have you believe the leads are supposedly falling in love yet they don’t know each other’s favorite color.
This drama somehow reminds me of Killua (character from Hunter x Hunter). One minute he’s acting silly fooling around with his best friend, and the next bodies are dropping like flies.
This drama is healing me from a certain k-trauma that starts off as a fun rom-com only to then turn into a cheap parody by the end. Thank you screenwriters.
All I ask from this drama is not to have a dragged & insufferable love triangle. If I can have that, mark my words, I’ll be spreading a certain failed Austrian painter’s political party levels of propaganda about this drama.
