We’re really getting a Rom-Com with only 4 episodes of romantic comedy out of 14 episodes🫥🫥
On Dynamite Kiss Dec 18, 2025
The writers did some of these characters really dirty. First with Seon U and now with Da Rim too? Is it not enough after everything it took for the leads to be finally together and made it look like ML is way more into FL, and now they’re going to have FL bail the first instance the relationship faces a problem? They even had FL promise that she would stay by ML side forever. You can’t make this up lol. It’s like the game ends with your team scoring all 3 goals except 2 of the goals went in your own net and only 1 went in your opponent’s. Fumbled.

The people in this comment section are incredibly funny, though. So Hayeong takes care of Seon U's son, takes…
You’re absolutely correct. Seon U has every right to refuse Ha Yeong advances. Feelings cannot be forced. They need to be mutual.

That being said majority of hate towards Seon U comes from how manipulative, pretentious, self-serving, pathetic and cowardly he gets.

With Ji Hyeok, Seon U was acting all petty and arrogant getting possessive and territorial over Da Rim. Mind you over something he doesn’t even have in the first place.

With Da Rim, Seon U was plain selfish. Seon U confession came at a time when Da Rim was going through a rather difficult period in her life and Seon U made it more complicated. The confession it self came through jealousy not wanting to see life long friend apparently happy with someone else. On top of that not only did Seon U stalled out Da Rim rejection he wouldn’t even let her at all. It was just a joke? If we’re taking Seon U at his words, that has to be the worst joke to ever joke at the wrong time to ever time. Seon U shouldn’t have try to pass it off as a joke if he wanted to preserve his friendship with Da Rim. He should’ve just let her reject him and properly deal with the entire situation. Except Seon U took the easy way out. Manipulative and pretentious from start to finish. A coward through and through.

I really don't understand this hatred towards Seon U. He has every right not to like Hayeong, she's the one who's…
“Sometimes we don’t directly express our feelings to someone we’ve been dating for a long time, but it’s only after we realize that person might leave us that we realize we don’t want them to go.”
There is your answer. Seon U was taking Da Rim for granted.

Only two episodes in but I can already see why many people here think FL should’ve ended up SML. I don’t mind love triangles but I do believe FL and SML interactions/dynamic shouldn’t be elevated so high. I don’t understand the decision to have FL and SML to share so much screen time, alone time and have a bunch of interactions already inside first two episodes. And FL is enjoying herself around SML too. ML is barely an afterthought it seems. I, for one, cannot wait to see how FL will fall for ML over SML and not just be a charity case to ML being head over heels for her.

Lol the hate towards SML in the comment section is crazy.. Why are we acting like we don't know that the SML is…
I may be one of those people you’re describing ,but here’s my perspective:

We are 10/14 episodes in already and SML is still chasing after FL hence SML ending up with SFL would be too quick of a turnaround. It’ll just come off as a rebound or a second choice for SML and SFL character is too good to be just that.

And the other point is that the rivalry between ML and SML is now done in a more comedic fashion where in earlier episodes when ML was in the dark thinking FL is married to SML having a complete breakdown it seemed SML was there rubbing salt in ML’s wounds every chance he gets. It was way more than SML just acting the part of fake husband and comes off as territorial over FL. It would’ve been fine if it was done in more of a comedic tone as it should be for a Rom-Com. Yet every time SML dragged FL away from ML we saw ML almost laying on the ground, curling up into a ball and weeping. Again I think we should’ve just seen ML get jealous in a comedic manner but what we saw doesn’t help SML case.

Another thing is that the love triangle should’ve been wrapped by now. Many people are finding it unnecessary because there’s enough material to not drag it out for this long. The exclusive scenes between ML&FL we have SML still trying to wedge in which was pretty much the entirety of today episode. Like just call it a day already and give proper amount of time of SML to get over FL and start something with SFL.

OMO OMO I think this ep +8more was one of my favorite ones, because of that happened, JiHyuk is back trolling…
While I agree with you on 2ML mostly being a third wheel/plot device to stop the leads every time they get too close (to stop the leads from “cheating”) at the same time it’s some what frustrating how much 2ML was getting territorial and possessive over FL.
The fact that SML was rubbing in it ML’s face over something he doesn’t even have in the first place. It was hard to watch seeing how much agony ML was in. Now they’ll probably gloss over ML getting petty with 2ML or do it in a more comedic manner which is absolutely fine, but only it wasn’t done in a comedic tone when 2ML was being insufferable with ML

K-tortures like these makes you appreciate dramas like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha even more. We have a similar love triangle trope going on with long term male friend of FL secretly in love with her yet in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha SML never gets territorial over FL and graciously competes against ML for FL love. But SML here is just a selfish, manipulative, pathetic, pretentious & ignorant jerk. The apple needs to fall far from the tree with the kid so they don’t pick up after their dad

It just feels like one-sided love on ML's part. People want to see both parties equally in love with each other.…
Spot on. That’s exactly what we’ll get. ML does a second round of advances and FL eventually accepts. Nothing more satisfying or romantic in a romcom than to have ML do all the chasing and FL just accepts after a certain point. Usually, ML has generational wealth in these sort of dramas I mean it really begs the question how much that money plays into it. In real life no brainer but in dramaland …?

They're still making dramas with this kind of trope in this day and age? I thought they stopped with the clingy…
On top of all that these kind of SML never get the appropriate response they deserve for how selfish they get. They’ll get let off easily since they’re are “friends” of FL considering all kind of crap they pull. They’ll still be around FL even after FL and ML get together since they’re of course “friends” of FL. IMO it’s worse than a genuine love triangle where FL is swayed by both ML and SML but chooses ML (not pick). That way at least FL will put distance between her and SML.

About the romance part : There isn’t an official love triangle/square but cheap tropes were used on both ML and FL sides with their respective love rivals. ML colleague kisses him on the cheek to confess her feelings and having FL sees that to create misunderstandings. Although it is resolved relatively quickly, however when it comes to FL dynamics with SML it is somewhat hard to digest. Like FL has to do all sort of hanging out and have breakfast/lunch/dinner with SML in the name of work. FL actually loses all her agency and is unable to refuse/decline to SML requests. So far as to ditch dinner date with ML and spend the entire night camping with SML to watch the sun rise. FL claims she didn’t want to do it and was dragged into it by SML(yes literally) ,but FL never made a real attempt to get out of it or ask to leave at any moment. Also, FL doesn’t share why she worries and cares for SML all the time when ML asked her stating she made a promise to SML (FL definitely could’ve given ML a vague explanation without going into details). It just creates unnecessary artificial tensions causing ML to say maybe they should go back to being friends. There’s a sense of FL prioritizing SML over ML at certain times. Overall, cheap narratives were used to create misunderstandings and jealousy between the leads when it could’ve been easily avoided since the leads only ever liked each other.

What the actual 🤢🤢🤢!!! We have a SML confessing he likes FL(childhood best friend) and that he not only sees her as a friend but also a woman. Oh btw, sometimes he also sees her as a little sister, a big sister, an aunt, a cousin and a mom. 🤡🤡🤡 everyone involved even the cast

I second shipping ML with a SFL. ML&SFL deserve justice. It’s some what annoying in dramaland where you always get the sense of SML ending up with FL if ML isn’t in the picture, but never in a thousand years SFL would end up with ML vice versa. And how much ML is kept pure where we’d always get a FL who has dated/dating, engaged/broken off or married/divorced.

One spring night is up there for my all time favorite kdrama but I do worry this could turn into a cheating mess (emotional or otherwise) for a romcom, no? Did just clock the divorced female lead tag. We shall see then

Oh I was excited for this one until I saw the trailer and this might be one I wait on and see. I want to see how…
I was just about to say the same thing. Looking like we’ll definitely get a forced love triangle with the “husband” falling for her. It’s just a matter of how long they’ll drag it out and how much they’ll elevate it. Couldn’t agree with you more on lots of right elements being there but hoping it won’t turn into a love triangle mess. Still recovering from the mess that was Choice Husband(cdrama) but I’m seeing some similarities. Or maybe I’m just being delulu

Are we really having SLS over a guy that can’t take No for an answer. And to insist FL should end up with someone who’s forcing their love on her is just plain baffling. Wouldn’t those feelings no matter how sincere they are would just become a burden for FL to deal with if she doesn’t want them? Like how many times must she refuse/reject? Also, from the looks of it SML will keep on pursuing FL if he feels an opportunity present itself in the future. Not taking No for an answer is awful bad quality to have that can lead to a lot of dangerous places if it turns into obsession, No?

This is one of those shows that really puts things into different perspective. After finishing it I’ve now come to realize bridges are also built for jumping off.
But seriously, how can anyone still be cordial with someone that kept your own child away from you for 2 years and isolated you all to themselves in the hope of getting inside your pants??

Absolutely NOT. Look it was fair game for 2ML until ep13 happened (not so sincere but very creepy behavior). Turns…
No, I agree with you on most things. FL and SML definitely shares a bond that ML can’t come between no matter how many times he says it makes him jealous. FL being too naive for her age plus FL and ML may not even be the perfect match. That being said I just don’t like how in too many of these dramas the so called best friend of FL gets down right manipulative, pretentious, and self-serving the minute a competition enters. Like what good it would do now to confess your love when your best friend just got into a serious relationship. I’m all for going out there and competing fairly for FL affection. After all you’re the one with all the advantages in already knowing/sharing a special bond with FL in the first place.

Absolutely NOT. Look it was fair game for 2ML until ep13 happened (not so sincere but very creepy behavior). Turns out he’s just another one of those 2MLs that are supposedly FL best friend but actually disrupt/sabotages any potential relationship for FL because they can’t have FL for themselves.
