I think this will also happen in the drama because we see her writing to her father in the preview for episode 21 or 22. She is writing "I like Ziqi, I'm willing to marry Ziqi, which is the same thing she says in the novel.

Yeah basically Miaomiao had to pretent to like Fuyi because it was one of her missions and she could never say she liked Zuqi, she could only say "I don't dislike you" which wasn't enough for him. So to I guess feel better, he wanted to marry her but she said it was too soon. So he put a spell on her. Her pretending to still be under a spell worked really well because she decided to marry him even if she's not under mind control and he wasn't as jealous anymore

Well basically, you know how Miaomiao was controlled by the bracelet? ZuQi does the same thing to her and she's going around telling everyone she wants to marry him, but she's under some sort of mind control spell. But, she gets out of it early and keeps acting, so on their wedding night she's like "you like this? Should I keep it up?" And ZuQi is scared, but at the same time happy because she willingly entered the marriage

There will be a bit of a yandere moment if they follow the novel, but Zi Qi stays... whipped for Miaomiao

I mean didn't Miaomiao end up in their world because she thought the novel made no sense and the romance was bad lol. To quote her "such a cheesy romantic novel. The official couple is so stupid, the plot relies entirely on the vicious supporting actress."
But yeah, they weren't important in the novel either so I don't think we should expect too much from them.
