I saw someone spoiled in the comment that it's HE. Does that mean ML needs to be from the modern world too?
He's not, but when the FL completes the mission she gets to make a wish, and she asks for him to be able to follow her to her world. At least that's what happened in the novel.
Can someone spoil the novel ending for me, I don't understand how this can have a happy ending, at first I thought…
It's something like when a transmigrator completes a mission they get a wish and she wished that he leave with her for her world... but for some reason he also had to work in that paranormal sector I have no idea why, I was really confused when I read the ending

They live in that world until the FL's father passes away and then they leave for her world. If you ask me how, I don't quite get it, I think that the ML had to work for the trasmigration bureau for a while or something, in the paranormal sector. It's not very clearly explained in the novel imo
Huh? I think They are faithful in following the plot. They added some scenes that makes sense like her dad that…
But he didn't marry her to protect his sister, he married her because he fell for her. He literally told the FL they can distance themselves from the sister if she minds the fact that he used to like her. You totally nailed the part about him putting a spell on her but it wasn't to protect anyone.

There are no breakups, I'm pretty sure they go back to the FL's world after her father passes away but unfortunately, I would've liked it if there were more sweet moments at the very end, after the last arc, but they could change that in the drama, I hope so. Still, there are sweet scenes as the ML is falling for the FL and after he falls for her.

The other person is wrong, he trapped her in a marriage because he doesn't want her to escape/ just wants to be married with her. But, in the original novel, he marries her to protect his sister.
