the reason for me to drop this series is toh...he is really boring, irritating n I don't find anything that would…
To me, Toh's character is an outward expression of inner monologues and dialogues people have when they have their first major crush. Many of us cringe at some of the things he says and does, but I love Toh for his quirks. His quirks, his loyalty, and his bravery once he sets his fears aside is what would make me like him.
Thank you for having a fem gay man, Daisy, who gets the guy and is not just the comic relief. Fem gay men have always been in for forefront of gay rights, but have been kind of pushed out of the picture in entertainment, in favor of straight passing characters. I would love to see Daisy and Intouch with their own series.
I just found out that the director of this series directed Love Sick 2 and Make it Right.
Edited: Just found out that Daisy is a transwoman. "The Boy Foretold by the Stars" is still my favorite then.
I wanted to thank you for working so hard for those of us who do not speak Thai. I know that it's hard work to provide subs and wanted you to know your efforts are appreciated.
I went to KaownahTurbo’s fan meet today and they talked about love Stage and how’s they improv’d the love…
I'm glad things are getting back to normal in Thailand because Thai fans are super supportive. I really liked them in this series. Too bad they production company didn't English sub the series.
I loved this episode. The cameos were great, the dancing and singing in the pink boxers was cute, and I even enjoyed the PDA. I appreciated that Lian kept singing and dancing after Kuea left. I think the message of this series is to be yourself. and seeing Lian and Kuea moving toward that, is great to watch.
Oh my gosh I forgot about the poor literature major situation . . . The rebel bit . . . kind of fits actually.…
I edited the comment to be clear that it is only my opinion, and that going abroad always seems to come up in these series. I think I was just low key mad that Theo just up and left Akk.
I was very disappointed in the ending. I did not read the novel, so I don't know if it deviated from the book. A major character flaw with Theo is that he is a rebel without a cause. He moves back to Thailand, stages a major fight for the literature major, then abandons both the major and Akk to move to France with his mother, when the mother didn't need to move to France right now. Theo has obviously learned to be selfish from this parents. Akk should said goodbye, then moved on. Theo is probably going to be even more dramatic in France since he will have the upper hand in language and cultural knowledge.
I know I'm not the only one not over the kiss because technically it's so beautifully directed. But I also can't…
There are times when Lian just looks at Kuea in the face, and his eyes are communicating his feelings. I give Zee such credit being able to pull that off. I find there are manga type elements, and since my BL interest started with manga, I enjoy it. For example, chopping an egg with a meat cleaver. There is a common manga trope where one character will try to chop a daikon or other vegetable with a meat cleaver and raises their arm vertically. It's like an inside joke. The sexual tension between Kuea and Lian was lovely, props to Zee and Nunew because at Nunew's age, I would have been very conscious with that scene.
I had to do a double take when I discovered this series. I recognized Ryo from another show and I couldn’t place…
I think so too. I don't think it's fair to judge when a person is ready. Anda may be taking it seriously and wants to be sure. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I don't think it's a gendered response. Also, I would be 100% embarrassed if even my same sex sibling caught me half naked with someone and I'm not an innocent virgin.
I am only on episode 6, but I keep thinking: why they decided to make Nadia a woman? I heard something about the…
I did not start watch this yet because I've read the book, but I'm super disappointed to hear this. Maybe all of the complaining from fans who complain about fem gays being "stereotypical" or "comedic fodder" made them erase this type of gay man altogether. Some of the characters are camp, but not all. Nadia was the voice of reason in the book, and yes, funny. I forgot that some fans only want masculine, gym bodied, straight passing gay men in a series! Talk about homophobia. Sorry to rant on your thread but I love Nadia in the book.
