In the novel, Khem and Pharan have a 10-12 year age gap. Pharan is described as being in his thirties.

They aren't the main couple, so that's why it isn't fair. I don't think viewers really want to see 30 minutes of Shen Wen Lan repeating his thoughts over and over and never being able to figure it out.

I got the impression that they love each other and that Ying Yi is definitely the boss in that family. I think Shen even called him "Yi ge." Shen got a scolding and an earful and released Shen Wen Lan.

No. Pitbabe was allegedly omegaverse but it wasn't. I mostly read manga and omegaverse fiction because up until about 10 years ago, BL fans detested mpreg. I think that's why omegaverse got popular because it gives an explanation as to why a man can get pregnant. If you like babies, there's an anime based from a manga called Tadaima Okaeri about a married couple. I love BL fluff and babies.

A yandere will do that type of thing, but at least he gave him a choice of left or right.

After their behavior at Songkran (I didn't realize it was these guys until the series started), their chemistry is on fire.

The series is at a rolling boil compared to the novel. I think that closing the age gap between Pharan and Khem, and heating up the romance were good changes made to the original IP.

I understand your POV, it's just that I didn't want you to force yourself to watch because these guys are not going to change for love. That dummy SWL still hasn't figured out that Gao Tu is an omega lol.

I didn't see the original post, but for some people on MDL, literally everything with angst or crying is a "masterpiece." Those people have the right to feel this way, because we are at all different stages of life and going through different things. I know that compared to Rashomon or Ugetsu Monogatari that these series are not masterpieces, but I think this series is pretty well done, especially having to work around censorship laws.

He's a yandere, so he has a specific mindset. The novel's author chose this path for Hua Yong. I'm a fan of yandere characters so I'm biased. All four male characters experienced chronic and severe trauma during childhood which have shaped their behavior. Gao Tu is the least messed up, probably because he has a younger sister who he loves and takes care of.

A yandere behaves like a yandere. If you understood yandere characters then Hua Yong shows great restraint when people hurt Sheng Shao You, but only because Sheng would be upset.

The children play a pivotal role in Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lan's reunion, so hopefully we will see a lot of them when they time skip.

Knotting is when the Alpha's "thing" expands and seals with the Omega's internal reproductive organs in order to have a pregnancy. Omegas in heat produce a pheromone, similar to concept to a female cat being in heat and it will attract Alphas. In some universes, knotting is painful, others not, but once knotted, the Alpha has be be totally finished before it can be undone and the time also varies by universe. Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang conceived in the hotel, during that same party when Hua Yong and Sheng Shao You also were together for the first time. SWL followed GT's pheromones and that's how it happened. Hua Yong and Sheng Shao You is more complicated because SSY does not have internal reproductive organs and HY has to create them. In the novel, they run out of condoms, but I don't know which encounter will get SSY pregnant in the series.

Even though I know "why" he is this way, SWL is a bigoted idiot who cannot even see the obvious, even when Hua Yong tried to paint him a picture. He is an orange cat Alpha and he hasn't received the one brain cell yet. I love orange cats by the way, so sorry to insult them by comparing WSL to them.

Having to work around the censors was pretty tough this episode. Whew! I am in bliss with puppy Hua Yong and tsundere Sheng Shao You. I got yandere, puppy and tsundere all in one episode. I'm not into the secondary couple because their dynamic annoys me. They will heat up when daddy Gao enters the story, but Shen's idiocy is frustrating to me..

The novel does not give the couples equal time, it is mainly about HY and SSY. Their story doesn't even get wrapped until the special chapters. The toxic fas should write their own novels, get it publish and developed into a series. I love the internet but it has also created a class of people who throw tantrums but they haven't produced jack themselves.
