I dont know guys. Im getting bored 🥲 i need more phun&noh moments
I'm bored too. It's too bad because the actors who play Phun and Noh are good. Now they've inserted a GL triangle, when it isn't canon from the novel. Hopefully when Phun and Aim break up, maybe we can see more of Phun and Noh.
who is Junior? i mean his IG and real name, i have a new crush lol
I think he is Golf Pasatorn Lertsathitwong who is supposed to be in Star Scope. The end credits don't list the character's names so please forgive me if I'm wrong.
I enjoyed this series very much. I'm hoping to see Willi and Focus in a series, as long as it is not a zany comedy or university. Mark and Gems are the couple I didn't know that I needed. The camera absolutely loves Tutor. I would like to see Tutor and Yim in a serious series.
I'm not familiar with those films, but this drama was adapted from a novel which one reviewer described as "a…
In Get Real, set in a high school in the UK, the MC and ML have a secret relationship. ML is the most popular kid in town, from a rich family, ML from a middle class background. The MC comes out to the whole school, but before this, the ML and MC almost kiss in a locker room when the ML's friends walk in. the ML beats the MC. After the MC comes out to the whole school he says goodbye to the ML. So although the ending is bittersweet, it is a happy ending for the MC. I can live with that.
I commend you for taking care of your mental health that is the most important thing we all should do. You do not have to watch what is unhealthy for you. I haven't watched one episode of Squid Game even though "EVERYONE" at work was watching it, because I have a low tolerance for violence.
I love a happy ending myself, but not at the cost of being stuffed into a closet. There is an old movie from the 90's called "Get Real" that has a bittersweet ending because one guy comes out to the school, the other stays in the closet. Even though the viewer is sad for the relationship, we are happy that the MC is free. When you are in the mental space, I would recommend watching it if you can find it. Get Real is a high school film so it isn't as dark as this will be. But sometimes a happy ending is that one partner breaks free from the closet and maybe can find love in the sunshine. The MC in Get Real needed to choose himself and his mental and emotional well being over the guy he loves. So it was a happy ending for me, bittersweet in general.
There's an old philosophy that the more homophobic you are, the deeper the closet. You can be "against homosexuality" and still be decent person about it. If you're a troll, you're coming off as a deeply closeted troll.
From the comments, this seems to be a Korean story similar to Get Real from 1998. Any other geezers out there who can tell me if this is the case? I expect a bittersweet ending, but I don't want to see the MC continue to suffer. The synopsis says the MC achieves complete personal growth, but I'm seeing many comments about crying. I love gay cinema but don't want to watch Savage Nights on endless loop either. And yes I know the director and star of Savage Nights was bisexual. Thanks in advance.
It's late at night here so I will watch it tomorrow. I'm expecting a bittersweet ending, meaning the MC will be free of the mental chains, but relationship may not last. Seems like people are enjoying it so far.
I want series Patt to be a little more stern like novel Patt, but I guess that will happen next episode and spill into episode 8. This is the problem with some exes who think if they are the dumper, the dumpee is ready and willing to take them back. I just wish that Patt got in a few kisses with his ex in the flashback, since we've had to watch Elyes kiss half of Bangkok.
As my shallow ass continues to tune in for my weekly ogling of James & Zax, I am completely perplexed as to how…
Even though I'm here for Elyes and Pat, I have to admit that as much as they criticize James for his acting, the man has kissed 4 other actors before episode 3. I tune out the music so I usually don't notice it. I will listen for it next episode.
What the hell is this? I'm definitely living under a rock. 10 years ago, I knew everything, every show, every…
It's okay, not spectacular, but the actors playing Noh, Phun and Earn are pretty good, and are conventionally handsome. This is definitely not a dud like Addicted. Most of the other cast is just good looking, their acting doesn't do anything for me. They upped the budget so the it has a nice look and they don't have to depend on the Siam complex as much for locations. It's pleasant and you will probably enjoy it. The people who were little kids when the 2014 version came out are now watching this, and it is more geared toward their generation.
I just finished reading the manga. Finally, Kirino is the most pitiful person, even though in the end he seems…
I read the manga many years ago, which is why I haven't decided whether or not to watch this. I can handle toxic stuff, unless it involves children and CSA as this series does. I hurt for Kirino too, but at least he has a daughter to love. Since the manga is almost 15 years old, the bittersweet ending of such a twisted story may be the most realistic result.
1. I Told Sunset About You & the sequel, I Promised You the Moon. Teh is one of the most toxic MLs I've watched.…
If you aren't already watching it, Smells Like Green Spirit is in a toxic setting, as well as being toxic. The story is dark, but it is a very good for people who are okay with watching dark topics, like bullying, violence. I read the manga many years ago, waiting for the series to finish before I watch it, but people seem to really like it.
There is a gay film from 1998 called, "Get Real" made in the UK. I don't know if it is available for streaming, I have the DVD. This film was made before smartphones and apps, so it may seem outdated to younger people. If you need a HEA ending then pass. It is more bittersweet happy for the MC though.
If you're fine with bad acting, and not great storytelling: 1. House of Stars 2. The Luminous Solution 3. Love Syndrome: The Beginning
Great series, great acting with toxic problems: KinnPorsche
I watched these. I usually will finish what I started, even if it is terrible. Most of the toxic shows are pretty terrible.
Someone please recommend me some BL dramas with toxic relationship like this drama. please
1. I Told Sunset About You & the sequel, I Promised You the Moon. Teh is one of the most toxic MLs I've watched. Everything is always about him, how he feels, what he wants. 2. Check-Out. It's a terrible series, so if you can stomach the terribleness, it's toxic.
As in ? Fei long and viewfinder ? May you explain please ?
There is an old manga series called Viewfinder or Finder in the official translations. One of the villains turned ally is named Fei Long Liu. It has been in serialization for almost 20 years. Being that it was intended to be a BDSM, non-con oneshot, the relationship starts in a bad way. Even though the MC is a BAMF, he gets kidnapped, the whole trope. If you absolutely hate non-con, and old school storytelling I do not recommend this manga series for you. Asami and Akihito are one of my OTP but I acknowledge that older series may not appeal to readers in the current era.
It will be interesting to see gay culture in a film, especially cross-culturally. After seeing the reports of homophobic responses from some Korean netizens, I hope someone in Korea decides to make a documentary of the response. The problem is, in Korea, criminals get their faces blurred, so maybe a filmmaker outside of Korea can show their handles uncensored, and out some of the bullies. Homophobia is why we rarely see more effeminate males even in BL, it's mostly gym dudes, and tough guys. Gay culture is not the women's world of BL, it's a male culture. I hope that the production company does not try to make a tragic ending to appease the bullies. Whether the MC is in a relationship or single, I'm hoping that he has a personal happy ending as a gay man.
