I think that Ohm and Leng have great chemistry! I'm biased because I've seen Ohm with different acting partners, so I'm not fixated on any ships. I thought that Leng did very well in the scene with Q's father not even realizing he was kidnapped.

I don't care for BTS while the series is airing because I just want to focus on the characters, not the actors, but I understand that many people find BTS interesting. If people where not interested, they would stop posting them.

So true! It's like Yu only cares about Ai if Pan is out of the picture. I would have gotten into an argument with him for sure and would have seriously considered breaking up. I don't say that lightly. Although I'm not jealous, I do require loyalty. I just wish that Ai called him out, just like Yu called Ai out for not handling his alcohol. The script and direction of this episode makes me think that Yu still would rather be with Pan, so anything else he says is fake.

When Pan apologized to Ai on the couch, Yu did not have the grace to look ashamed. And Yu waited until Ai was washing dishes instead of telling him to scoot over so he could sit next to him. Bad script and direction this episode.

I actually was disappointed in Yu this episode. I thought he was old enough to tell Pan that he is dating Ai and that he cannot keep secrets from him because it will create misunderstandings. I thought Ai was too go with the flow. I'm not a jealous person, but I would have had an argument with my boyfriend for sitting too close, unnecessary touching and sitting with her at while eating barbecue. I know the director did this to create tension, like whenever Yu and Pan together, they would huddle close together and Yu did not comfort Ai at all, but I found the Ai's easy forgiveness too unrealistic. When your own mother is giving side eye, come on!

The original episode 1 was a mess. Love Sick 2024, even with the higher budget, better training of the actors and cinematography, I'm having problems adjusting to the new actors, especially the supporting cast. We haven't even heard the band play yet. Maybe after I hear Progress sing, I will be able to let go of Captain as Noh a little easier.

Love Sick was my first Thai BL (I had watched Chinese BL prior) and I remember thinking I had made a mistake after watching episode 1, but it made me fall in love with Thai BL. Episode 1 of the 2024 version is much more coherent.

If you watch the original, episode 1 is a hot mess. I love Captain and White as the leads though.

One of the worst GMMTV productions in a long time. No way would a cutie like Ryan be single for 5 years after being ghosted by Jane. The only thing missing was Ryan having Jane's baby while he was in Hong Kong for 5 years.

Any time there is a break up, I feel like we are going back in time, and it just hurts me to watch those stories. If it will mostly be told in flashback, then maybe I can handle the emotions. I'm just not into the sad stuff.

I was going to shelve this series when covid came into play, but I have to remember that I was a full adult at that time and that maybe some kids have a different nostalgia about it. Not having to go to school for 1-2 years would have been great for an introvert like me. As a working adult, I know so many people who suffered with illness and economically during that time, so it's difficult for me to see it as a plot device.

I decided to press on because they resolved it pretty quickly and the chemistry between Kla and Cake is unreal. I cannot imagine a different actor playing Cake, since Junior is doing such a great job. At this point, it's hard for me to imagine Non in the role, and I like Non.

I enjoyed this adaptation very much. Hopefully they will produce the other volumes of this series. It looks like they left if open for that to happen. Kobayashi did a great job playing the mercurial Taichi.
