I thought the first episode was well done. I felt bad that Jimmy had to smoke so much, especially since he is a doctor and probably tells patients to quit smoking.

I prefer that the romanization is closer to the pronounced word. The other is when the L is pronounced as an English N sound by Thai speakers when at the end of the word. English speakers will pronounce the L so it’s better to transliterate to N. Thanks for the explanation.

I would agree but I think Jayson using Joel's photo on the dating app is worse than the cheating. Oliver sexually harassed Joel and tried to sexually assault Joel because Jayson used his photo, and Joel had no idea what was going on. So I'm waiting for Jayson to get his karma.

Jayson literally screwed Joel over twice. First by using Joel's photo, then by screwing Oliver. The NC scene did not do anything for me except prove what a garbage friend Jayson is. I would rather watch porn than two dirtbags get it on. Fifth and Joel should move out and just room together and find new boyfriends. Fifth should never apologize to Zeke. I don't care about the GL subplot. Oxin sank the best ship they've had. I just spot watched Ep 8, didn't watch the whole thing. What a shame.

I thought the same thing. Joel and Oliver have a sweeter relationship with chemistry. I hope Joel finds out, then dumps Jayson and Oliver. Fifth needs a new roommate too.

Oxin posted on YT that the next episode will be R18. If it's Kevin and Zeke, I'm going to drop this series.

To be honest, I don't know if this is a BL or just gore horror with gay leads. From the trailer, it looks like a horror/gore show with a gay lead.

This show was one of the best in the genre. The characters made mistakes that I've seen made in real life. Neo was my #1 on this show, not Ton, Neo.

I'm the bull in the china shop and think Fifth and Jayson would make a nice couple. After watching their scene, I was like, "Zeke who?" Zeke's fickleness is a turn off to me. Oxin spends a whole episode building up Zeke and Kevin, but even on YouTube, very few viewers are buying it. I actually think Joel and Oliver make a cute couple, but Oliver will get his revenge by dumping him and he will then turn to Jayson.

Out of left field, I think Fifth and Jayson would be a nice couple. After seeing Jayson comforting Fifth, I thought they could go from friends to lovers. I'm not sure how Oxin sank the most lucrative ship of their franchise, in 5 episodes. My final eye roll of this ship is when Zeke was in dreamland over his history with Kevin, but we don't even get a 3 second shot of him staring at Fifth when he went to the boarding house to get his things.

I actually think that Fifth and Jayson would make a cute couple. After their heart to heart, they seem to understand each other. I don't think Jayson is fickle like Zeke.

Ton needs to mature a lot more so that he understands that sleeping with his friend's boyfriend or kid brother just isn't working for him. He will live his hedonistic dream in NYC, but only time will tell if he is the 40 year old still hanging out with 22 year olds or if the matures and lives an adult life. I also think that he will have an easier time finding a boyfriend who wants to have an open relationship in NYC. I'm rooting for him after he sent the photo to his friends back home. At least he is thinking of his friends back in Thailand.

Boston was redeemed. Nick told him that he should be himself instead of trying to live up to the expectations of others. The last scene between Nick and Ton was great because Nick was not willing to compromise who he is either. So we saw Nick going from a man crying and begging for Ton, to holding his head up. Boston is in NYC pursuing his dream, hopefully on PrEP and having safe sex. He can have 365 ONS per year.

I will miss the messy bunch. I thought I was not going to like this series because I could not stand Friend Zone and dropped it after 2 episodes, but I ended up loving Only Friends. Even if they all break up or all stay together, I've enjoyed the ride.

This was very nice. Not without flaws and plot holes, but enjoyable overall.

You make a good point. My dissatisfaction stems from the type of drama they are putting the characters through. The first love begging for another chance love triangle. I will admit that I hate love triangles, so that's my bias. I think there is enough mystery in Fifth's past that they could make some drama about family or things that happened in the past. It also seems like the school setting and plot is more like high school than college. Even the BFF Iris annoys me. Instead of trying to cash in on the popularity of these characters, they should have spend more time developing them.

Just like how this board was so sure Boeing would be played by Mix, and talked about it for weeks. I still think Boston is a dink. He's only promising to be with Nick until he leaves for New York. Nothing in this show is predictable, and until the end credits roll, I don't know how things will turn out.

I liked A Boss and a Babe too, and I like the Cher x Boss relationship more than Mew x Top, mostly because I hate cheating. However, I think the acting and story telling is better in Only Friends. Book and Force were able to give performances that were more mature and intense than the light comedies of ABAAB and Enchante.

I will miss the bros after next week. I wonder if Boeing was inserted as an after thought because we still don't know why Sand was so pissed at Top. Boeing isn't that much of a catch in my eyes. If we had to see Nick kiss Atom, we would have survived Sand kissing Boeing. I have those nasal sniffers from Thailand and would have been fine.

I hope that some of these actors win awards during the next awards season. The OST deserves awards, but my favorite is the song for Sand and Ray, by Khaotung.
