GMMTV had a great BL year in 2023. Makes me sad that 2024 will mostly be teen oriented shows. To me, Last Twilight is one of the best series this year. The way Day and Mohk communicate, even about prison, unrequited love is just wonderful. The friendship between Mohk and his ex-girlfriend is better than the usual inner thoughts. Then the story in the book interweaving through Day and Mohk's story is great storytelling.

Just my opinion, Day, not thinking he would ever have a chance with August, is attracted to Mohk. Never thinking he would have a chance with August, was emotionally available to someone else. Then when meeting August, the old feelings started to flow again. I think Day's feels for Mohk are the real, and with August it is that first crush love, plus it can never be because August is straight. Unlike August, Mohk makes Day feel and safe and accepted as an equal. When Mohk was disoriented and overwhelmed, he was looked for Mohk. In fact, Day called for Gee, not August. When August sat on the bench, he asked if he were Mohk and you can see that Day is disappointed, when it is not him. Yes, Day had his dreams come true for a second, then they were shattered, when August revealed, he was only doing it because of Day's feelings. There is an old gay movie called Big Eden with the same subplot. The MC has always been in love with his best friend who is hetero. Because he loves the MC as a friend, he tries to be with him to make him happy. They share a kiss, but the friend stops, and that's where it ends. August was wrong to do that, but now it will clear the way for Mohk and Day, who will have enough problems to deal with. Now I wonder if the author of this series was inspired by that scene. Anyway, sorry so long.

I was a little tense since I'm a fan of the manga and Japanese live action version, but New did a really good job as the protagonist. Tay is good too, but the Achi character is much harder to play and at risk for ending up camp. l'm not too fond of the casting of Mark, as in my opinion, he is too tall and too handsome (versus cute) for the role, but he has time to win me over with his acting. My opinion is based off the manga.

Thanks for your honesty. I think that the leisurely lifestyle these characters have helps. I've been in the military with young, very horny men and they just don't have the time to jerk off 4 times a day. At least not back in the day. I'm glad they made this series for the guys though. I think their target audience is males, and if this is successful, there will be more to follow.

Even if I'm the only person, I really love this series. It is the only BL series airing that makes me laugh out loud, and that's hard to do. I like seeing the usually level headed Jade become a confused mess when it comes to Mai. Even his smartwatch is knows what's going on. Tutor looks so angelic in some of the shots. The cinematographer knows how to capture his face beautifully.

Even though it had a HIStory vibe, I really enjoyed this series. I thought the acting was excellent and the couples had great chemistry.

I am disappointed with this series, and I was looking forward to watching it. Except for Soong and the blonde, I'm just not interested in any of the others. Part of the problem is, I don't get any personal rise out of jerk offs and crotch grabbing 4+ times per segment. Since I have worked professionally with former sex workers and know people into play, this isn't very deep or illuminating to me. I'll pause, and I'll be back to see what people are saying after Ep 13. I'm glad that others are enjoying this series though.

This is the one of the first times I've seen a studio take gold, and turn it in to cow pies. Fifth and Zeke stole My Story from underneath the main couple and and were great. We always knew that Fifth had a family secret, they could have have Fifth and Zeke fight together against the homophobia, winning over the father, but instead, Oxin felt the love triangle with Kevin was a better path to follow. It was the biggest squander of talent, particularly with Hiro. Serial dater Kim needs to retire as well. I don't care if she is a serial dater, but just as in real life, I can stand to hear about a 50th soul mate. At least Swap Test, and Check Out did not have 3 seasons. I'm so disappointed in this series.

I don't dislike this because Sky and Ace (didn't really like Sky and Win) are not in it. I'm more saddened by how Oxin took a great couple like Fifth and Zeke and flushed them down the toilet with poor, lazy storytelling. They had Fifth's struggles with his family sitting in their laps, which could have shown Fifth and Zeke fighting together, but they give us the lazy and lame love triangle with Kevin. Then Zeke acts like he never loved Fifth. And serial dater Kim, who can keep a man, gets two. Hopefully moving away will keep her out of future shows. And Jelai who calls the controlling jerk Jerome, "a good man." That's just the beginning.

I'm so uninvested that I don't even know who Matt is. My thoughts are, Zeke wakes up and has amnesia, so he thinks he is still in love with Kevin, living in Baguio. Fifth will then be free to find a great guy in Manila and leave all of this nonsense behind.

This is my favorite show airing right now. I had to catch-up because I've been traveling, and now have to wait for the next episode. Just hope this doesn't end in a Gift of the Magi type scenario.

The sex work is being presented in a neutral stance. Thailand does not make a huge effort to hide sex work, and it isn't hard to find. The workers don't seem to be too worried about the cops, as they stand outside of clubs to woo customers, not to mention freelancers. And yes, I've been to Thailand, and it's out in the open. This series is not exposing anything taboo, or hidden secrets of the industry. That's the problem. Pizza dude has already stopped charging blondie, and they are trying to sell us emotionality. It just isn't working for me. Hopefully it will get better soon. The only person I'm interested in is Nun.

I didn't like it because most people read manga in their own language. Or they should have hired a bilingual native Japanese/Thai speaker to dub the Japanese so the accent would be more on point. We also needed subs.

I'm no prude, but the constant jerking off and getting laid is getting boring and ho-hum.

I like this so far, but feel a twinge of guilt that I would have preferred Mark as Dynamite, because Aungpao isn't doing anything wrong.

I love this show. It makes me laugh out loud. It reminds me of the old 80's comedies. Like when Jape thinks the description of a donut eating person with a yellow badge holder is too vague. Tutor looked so angelic in the scene where Jade wakes up and sees Mai standing over him, looking down at him. I love these two. We are now in the edge lord story cycle with BL, so I will enjoy this piece of strawberry cake.

In omegaverse 2 alphas can procreate even if they are the same sex. That's why there are so many stories about an alpha falling for an omega instead of marrying another alpha, and the family conspiring against the relationship.

I actually thought that I would never see an omegaverse live action. The MPREG tag used to flip people out 20 years ago, and they even had to create a universe before people would stop freaking out. I don't want to hear 13 weeks of complaining about it.
