But the reality is that it still happens 😭
True which is why I'm proud of Neo for announcing that he loves his girlfriend, and even showed her face.

this isn't a BL?
It's what GMMTV used to produce. It used to be 2 straight, 1 BL, but it has been reconfigured to 1 BL, 1 GL, 1 MF.

Someone has to kick the industry to the curb and take the risk of going independent. Moo is a perfect candidate because he comes from a well to do family and can work hard at university. I do not want to see a Korean (sorry but the amount of abuse and suicides are documented) type contract being used to drive people apart. Moo, be a Neo and just go public with your relationship. Risk it all and Kang, don't be a stone around Moo's neck, let him go public. Yes, I know that I'm mixing a real person with fictional characters, but I'm frustrated that in 2024, this could still be happening.

Can you share good & Romantic lesbian drama list?
I don't have a full list and the movies I watched are old, since I mostly watch documentaries and BL now. When Night is Falling (lesbian writer-director), Go Fish (lesbian writers, director, actors), But I'm a Cheerleader (lesbian director, gay screenwriter) great soundtrack), The Watermelon Woman (lesbian writer-director, actors), Lost and Delirious, Better than Chocolate. I noted which I know for a fact are written or directed by lesbians, but I'm not sure about the others. Because these are films, there is some angst, and one has a tragic ending. If you want me to spoil which one, let me know.

I think that's a rather self explaining part of the story. That you have to sacrifice sometimes to reach the top.…
I understand that, but I am merely pointing out that people who summit do not do this alone, and who is in your party makes a difference. I'm not a mountaineer, but have watched many documentaries on Everest, and K2, and I just see a different meaning.

Thanks viewers for your thoughts. I will watch this next week so I don't have to be sad for a week, if they drag the angst out, I will wait until he finale. These kids (Moo and Kang) are missing a point, that with very few exceptions, no one summits Everest alone, and many have died trying, even in groups. Sherpas have also lost their lives trying to save mountain climbers. It's a bittersweet analogy. I hope that Moo and Kang make it through.

Has anyone read the novel? Was it easy to read once you get into it? I read sample pages on Amazon and it's written in first person. Maybe in Thai it is easy to differentiate who the "I" is since they have many pronoun choices, but since it changes POV many times within a chapter, it was kind of hard to follow. If it were not $16 for an ebook, and was about $8-$10, I would take the risk. Also, I can tell by the sample pages, they made many changes from the book. Just asking. Thank you.

Even tho most Kpop companies got rid of the ban most fans especially Korean fans are still bothered by it and…
Except for BTS (because it took them so long from debut to superstardom, they have a good overseas compensation percentage), I don't support Kpop or the Korean entertainment industry. Yes, I watch their BL, but only after it airs and on aggregators (don't hate me). I'm glad they have fans like you to support them though.

I'm catching up on things due to travel and it took me 4 episodes to realize that the actor playing Yoyak was in Manner of Death. I'm glad that he is having this great opportunity as a lead in this series.

I must say I'm a bit disappointed they took the predictable old school way to make Moo sign a contract like that.…
One way to change things is to expose the that it is wrong. I get fussed at on YouTube because I comment that my personal opinion is, Zee and NuNew are work boyfriends. If fans don't realize how toxic these contracts are, they will continue to stick up for actors having to remain closeted, or having fake relationships. Yes, I don't like this trope either and hoped that Moo and Kang would be the first 18 and 19 year olds not to cave in to adult pressures, but reality is often more as seen here if a person wants to be famous in Asia.

oh jeez, I'm so happy to see this comment. I wasnt sure if I even wanted to start this tbh because personally…
And Peak and Thanwa will be a couple. No matter how hot and sexy Chahab is (according to me), I could not stand his character and he had no chemistry with Best.

Best finally has a role since LBC that suits his talent. His character in Check-Out was an unlikeable whiner. I like his chemistry with Seng too.

If I did not know about the manga, I would have like the series more, except for the overload of Sakae and Miizuki, even more scenes than Sakae and Soga. I liked the actors, and would like to see them in another BL series. The manga is about two couples (the second couple is Kaname and a salaryman), and did not have the exes, filler, break-up and LDR, because Soga isn't even from Tokyo in the source material.

I'm sad that I did not like this, I watched the first two episodes then the last. I did not like the main character, so it made his story unwatchable, and the finale showed his personality did not change. I think the director should have toned down the yelling and screaming, which made it difficult for me to relate to Sun. Hope to see this cast in something else.

I don't know her but it's really such a tragic story..:(
To this day, people do not "know" why she hurt herself. Speculation is, she was in a one-sided love relationship with her series co-star, a married man, old enough to be her father. Her note was not made public. She tried earlier that morning with gas and cutting, but was found and taken to a hospital. In my country, she would have gotten a 72 hour hold, even back then, but instead they went to the company to try to determine how they were going to handle the scandal. That's when she went to the top of the building. Her music is still available, so the company has made money, and I hope that her family is getting some of the money. This happened 38 years ago, but abuse still takes place, so I'm glad the Moo character is sticking up for himself, at the risk of his career.

Why aren't people watching this masterpiece?🥺
I thought many people were watching this. It's my favorite show that is currently airing. This and We Are, both GMMTV which is shocking me.

I like this series because at age 18, Moo is defying the no dating rule, which is outdated and irrational. Being in multiple relationships has not hurt Taylor Swift, although she is much older, she was openly dating in her 20's. Moo is a songwriter in this series so he also has that in his portfolio. I'm glad that he is defying what he is being told. The entertainment industry in many Asian countries is brutal and toxic. I think of Yukiko Okada who wanted to desperately be an idol in the 1980's, and she had to meet strict conditions set by her mother before she would relent. Okada's career lasted for only two years before she jumped off of a building in Yotsuya, Tokyo. Okada's story is not the norm, but maybe if she felt able to advocate for herself, maybe she would have just quit instead.
