Sigh. I usually enjoy this show, but this week (Ep 9) was weak. The side couples, which are the only thing that…
I've never understood the layered dressing in Thai dramas. If you look at people on the street they are not wearing hoodies and jackets. In addition to the temp, it's very humid, and while I understand that Thais are used to it (just like I'm okay with "dry" heat), it's still hot to them too. When you watch drama BTS, they are dripping sweat and blotting it off between takes. I grew up in triple digit summers, and I could never survive a sweater vest, and jacket when it's over 90 degrees, high humidity everyday.

I visited Thailand during rainy season and wore Crocs or reef walkers. My shoes would have grown mold if I had worn leather or vinyl. At least the characters in this series aren't dressed for winter, when it's 95 degrees, like we see in most series. Sun's huge collection of band shirts packed in that little bag makes me wonder what else he has in that bag.

This series never fails to make me laugh. The fake handcuffs with the social distancing length chain was funny. Athit and Sun only have one more episode to figure out they like each other. I think Athit has already figured it out, it's Sun who is still clueless. Plus the viewer gets to see a part of Thailand that we usually do not see in a series. Even Sun is a nice filler until their series for the Hemp Rope novel starts to air. I'm looking forward to seeing Win and Team are together again.

I hate wet shoes and had the same thought. Plus the smell once you take them off.

I don't get this show. Are we supposed to think that slavery is funny?
You're supposed to understand the culture behind money lending from loan sharks in certain cultures to "believe" these scenarios.

This is absolutely crazy. I just can’t stop…I just love this entire cast so much..I don’t even want to think…
I just wish that all of us aunties and grandmas could go to a fan meet to represent. I never see any aunties in the audience.

After he fixed himself overnight like his scooter. Vee told Mark less than 12 hours before that he would respect…
Since you're an artist you probably know of her. My favorite artist is Frida Kahlo. I'm not really into art, but once I saw her paintings, I just fell for her as an artist. I don't even agree with some of her political beliefs, but that's how art should be. We should be able to come together even if we wouldn't agree with each other 100% of the time.

I've been into BL for many years, starting from manga. I started reading BL because I was getting bored with hetero romances after reading them for years. I'm also tired of relational aggression, and when you have female leads, you will have that going on.

I hope that people today learn to self-soothe so that no longer demand that everyone else live in a padded room with them. The Puritanical cult that tries to regulate everyone else are the toxic ones on the internet. A sleep kiss of a fictional character is not worse than a real person being anonymously bullied by another person on MDL because of that kiss. Psychosis is a break from reality, and while I'm not diagnosing anyone, I see this cult like behavior here quite frequently. I think they need to moderate the boards, but until they do, it will be a Lord of the Flies environment at time.

My favorite artist painted things that were uncomfortable and sometimes disturbing. I'm reluctant to name her because I don't know how many people on the boards are minors, and don't want them to learn about her, then demonize her, even posthumously. I think that the education system along with social media has taught people to believe that anything they do not agree with as evil, and that only THEIR "truth" is what defines what others should think. It's pretty scary.

I'm thinking the novel, "East of Eden" written in 1952, would be "toxic" today instead of a great work of literature. Or would Maya Angelou's autobiography, "I Know why the Caged Bird Sings" would be considered "triggering" instead of empowering? It seems like people would rather be "safe" than have their belief system challenged. As much as I hated it at the time, I'm glad that I had to read classic Greek dramas. We were not allowed binary good/evil judgment calls without an analysis of the story. People today are really missing out.

I want the 2Moons2 Pavel!Waited over 2 years for that hotter than hot character ... a guy who knew exactly what/who…
I'm glad he is in this series because it shows he has the talent to play a character who is not similar to his real personality, at least up this point in the series. Showing his acting flexibility is what will get him more work. He doesn't hide his real personality either, which makes him different from other actors in Asia. I like that Pavel pushes his boundaries and comfort zone in acting, since this is what he does in real life. I'm sure there will be more half savage roles in the future for him.

Mark's father is in the book. I'm not going to spoil it, but he is homophobic. In the novel, Mark's family has already been introduced, and that's where Mark goes to recover. That's why some viewers are saying they should have spent less time on Ploy, and added Mark's family. I understand about not reading the book, that's what I did with other series. It's that this series was first released 2 years ago, so this is the 2nd run with the same actors, except Bar, Kan and Ploy. Just to warn you, there are things that take place in the book that upset people.

My screen name comes from having to answer that question so many times. I tried to go incognito but it didn't work. LOL

That Ploy thing wasted so many episodes and to make her a DV survivor was lame. If Ton were such an abuser, there's no way he would have let her just waltz off in time to see Vee at the hospital. Leaving is the most dangerous time for a DV survivor. Plus, I would have liked an episode with Mark standing up to his homophobic father and the meeting that Vee and Mark's parents have in the book. I think it's more important to show family acceptance for gay couples.

I understand your point,. Vee did pull back in the book and the original series, so I'm interested in seeing how this new plot line works out. Mark is misconstruing what happened, even if Vee should have been more firm in his refusal. Vee should have explained himself even if Mark had an attitude, and Mark should have listened to weigh out the story. Since they made Ploy a DV survivor and Vee white knighted her, I think someone in their friend group should tell Mark what really happened. Vee has to learn to fight for what he wants. He didn't fight for Ploy, but his love for Mark is stronger. If they keep not talking when they have a misunderstanding, then maybe they should just go their separate ways.

They should have reduced the Ploy episodes to fit it in. When Mark's parents catch them together, it is a turning point in the novel. I thought this was a 12 episode series, so I don't think there's time for Mark's parents to show up.

I loved this series. Although I don't condone the deception, I understood how Boss felt. Those of us who had acne during puberty would understand that walking around with pimples is very hard. Thankfully, I grew up before socials, so people saw the real you, and I don't know anyone who got rejected for bad skin. This series was more about feeling insecure about yourself, and being able to be who you are, even with the filters and masks available today on social media. Even though Boss has a killer body and personality, he felt it still was not enough. This did not turn into a skin care commercial either, which was great.

That would have helped explain how he "moved on" so fast. With his mom's support, and showing Mark's homophobic father would have showed the viewer that being public with Vee wasn't a piece of cake for Mark either. Everyone focuses on Vee's struggle to be public, but in the novel, Mark's father made it hard for Mark as well.

This series just took a huge deviation from the novel and the original series. It's nice to see Vee deciding to fight for Mark, instead of going catatonic like in the novel. That's what Mark wants, someone to fight for him. Changing the setting from the bar was also a good idea. No drunk excuses for anyone. I thought some of the changes were unnecessary like the Ploy DV arc, and the make a wish hill, but I like that Vee is going to fight hard, and announced it in front of Mark's whole class.

Title Check Out
I agree, except we don't really know what led to Tee's cheating in the first place. They never gave any details…
Tee cheats, Daonuea finds out and dumps him to the point where he can't even kiss him. Nine has a whole girlfriend, ghosts him, and Daonuea kisses and has sex with him. I think that Tee is a safe place for him to park right now, but he doesn't love him. How Daonuea can love a vacation lover more than his lover of a few years is interesting, but this is BL. Plus, Daonuea is as bad as Tee since Nine has a girlfriend. It's easy to be self-righteous, but he's in the wrong now. That's why in the end, there will be mutual happiness all around, cheering each other on.

I also know people who have bipolar, and they do/did not act like Praew, even before they were diagnosed. I know this is a drama, but they should try to get the mental health parts correct, or not label her behavior with a real disorder. She could have both, but her borderline traits seem more dominant.

Yes, in Episode 1 or 2, Daonuea breaks up with Tee over it. That's how he ended up on vacation and meeting Nine.

Even though I fast forwarded through a lot, I actually felt sad for Daonuea. I think now is the time to decline Tee and just work on himself. Tee deserves to find someone who loves him, and hopefully learned that instead of cheating, talk about problems in advance. I'm hoping that Praew doesn't go psycho. She has more traits of a borderline rather than bipolar. Oh yeah, thanks Boat for being passive aggressive.
