I agree with the comments saying the trailer was a bit over the place. Stil, l think that we are able to see the potential of this series even in this trailer.
Honestly, I expected this one to be a lot worse after reading all the comments talking about how messy this series is.
I agree that this is absolutely one of Strongberry's weaker projects; the characters don't really have a story for themselves, therefore it's quite hard to really feel with them (my opinion). Still, this was an enjoyable watch and considering that the series is rather short: if you're asking yourself if it's worth watching, I recommend giving it a go!
Yeah, for me it's saying "Coming soon in 2024"! I'm basically looking on Netflix once a day hoping to see an actual date (it's probably my most anticipated release this year)
Honestly, seeing the way Sun developed throughout the show, I feel really frustrated; she started out as such an supportive, kind character but somehow ended up being jealous and not caring about Ongsa's feelings; like come on, Sun outing Ongsa in front of her parents made me feel so uncomfortable. Since there are only two episodes left, I doubt they will address that issue properly (especially since there seems to be the typical, unneccessary ep 11 break-up). That was my rant, really needed that after being frustrated for days lol
somebody needs to take off those "Gay Male Lead, Gay Romance, & LGBTQ+" tags real quick because there's literally…
I agree! I wouldn't mind the movie not being LGBT+ themed if it wasn't made to look like it during promotions (like you said, the posters etc.) In my opinion, the story itself still seems interesting, it's just so annoying to see queerbaiting all over again, so I probably won't watch it.
I hope they don't make it completely separate to the point that there is no mention of his marriage/in-laws.
I hope so, too! There would be no reason to make a sequel based on the movie if they completely erase that part. If they did, they could've just made a stand-alone series.
I enjoyed this one a lot more than I originally expected! Though, I think it would have been nice to be a lot longer (just because of how much I enjoyed it), the pacing of the story was really good, I didn't feel bored at all.
I loved the original and watched a few remakes before, so I am already seated! Though I'm wondering how close it will be to the original (especially the LGBT storyline as many others mentioned before). Also, does anyone know if it will follow the same "real-time" pattern or will it be a like a weekly release?
Already excited! I loved (and still love) the movie! Really loved Greg Hsu's character in Marry My Dead Body and I see a lot of potential for this series!

Also, there's an about page for the series on Netflix already and Greg Hsu is already named under cast, so yes, definitely confirmed!
