It seems like that, there have been more GMMTV series that aren't available on Youtube during release already (at least in my country). Most of them seem to end up on Viki Rakuten here but sadly, you pretty much always need the paid subscription if you want to watch them
The best thing about this show is that it’s over now and we don’t have to see this mess again
I'm honestly a bit sad that I totally have to agree with this statement. I had quite high expectations when I read the synopsis but sadly it just ended up being a mess imo
Late to the party but I finally got to watch this series. And I can't believe I missed out on it for so long! Probably one of the most enjoyable and fub series I watched lately
Finally got to watch the 2nd season. I honestly didn't expect it to catch me as much as it did but wow, I would even argue that the second season was even better than the first one!
i can't be the only one completely fine with the show's length. some of the best shows i've seen also have a small…
I am totally fine with 5 episodes too! I am sure there's a good reason for it to be this short, shows with a smaller number of episodes sometimes really have the ability to leave a bigger impact while also telling a complete and deep story. There is no need for 12 episodes if the story can be told in 5, so I trust everyone working on this series to know what they are doing.
Agree, but have to add one thing to MekDech. You're right, they are the only characters that felt real but they…
Yes! Totally agree, I wish MekDech had more screentime so that their relationship could've been explored properly as they were such interesting characters and their bond seemed so natural. Also agree on the last bit, it would've been nice to see some development between before vs. after the timeskip
I know we live in an era where someone thinks every single BL is a "masterpiece". And where MDL has been…
While I did enjoy this series for the most part, you put my thought into words perfectly!
Looking at it from a critical view, I was honestly dissappointed by how light the story was - I feel like it never really went deep enough into the issues, never really explored the characters and just ended up being quite a basic show with mostly flat characters. I also wished they had done more with the historic aspect and focused less on sweet, romantic scenes. As how it was done here, it honestly just felt unrealistic and shallow.
Still, I would like to end this by saying that I did enjoy it from an entertainment pov and I did look forward to each episode. The premise had the potential to be a masterpiece but sadly the series failed to reach it.
I am reading the webtoon currently and saw that there's gonna be an adaptation by chance. Really looking forward to it as the Webtoon is a lot of fun so far! ^^
I saw that there will be a second season by chance when looking through the upcoming shows on Netflix and I'm so excited for this one! I hope the wait isn't too long anymore!
I did not expect that this series would trigger a cultural clash 😂👏 Let's speak about it is not on netflix…
For me, one of the best series on Netflix is "Sense8", the story is extremely interesting and with only 2 seasons it's also one of the shorter series on Netflix
Made this account just to say this show is actually good! Is this site like Letterboxd for K-dramas? I'm usually…
I honestly don't keep up with awards, so I can't say anything about that, but I'm gonna recommend some I enjoyed personally:
Eulachacha Waikiki - it's kind of a classic among k-drama fans, very fun comedy Kingdom - this is a zombie drama with a "historical" twist All of Us Are Dead - another zombie drama, really popular when it aired (there is supposed to be a second season) Sell Your Haunted House - a ghost drama, I enjoyed it a lot and ended up binge-watching it in two days The Sound of Magic - amazing cinematography, if I remember correctly it has a musical influences (maybe someone can confirm?) Tomorrow - quite emotional, again this was very popular when it aired Navillera - might seem boring for some but I really enjoyed every second of it, I recommend giving it a try Move to Heaven - very interesting with lovable characters, probably one of the best finds on Netflix for me
I loved the original movie and the trailer for this remake didn't look too bad, so I will gladly give this one a chance! Also I'm interested in knowing what they might have changed in the story, so far it looks really similar to the original.
Just wanna hop in here to say that I'm really looking forward to the next episode. The story is so beautifully made, so interesting to watch and it's the first time in a while that I really have no idea what to expect for the ending.
Really do not get the hate on this one...it was a decent adaptation of the manga and jdrama (which lacked skinship…
I agree with this one! I wouldn't say that I love the adaptation but it really is not as bad as some people made it out to be. I'm pretty sure that the biggest problems were the high expectations people had after My School President and the popularity of the Japanese adaptation as well as the huge amount of product placements. Would I watch it again? Probably not. But still I enjoyed it, it has its cute moments and I'm sure there are people who love this drama despite all the criticism.
Yeah.....that was first ep I didn't really like, and regretted staying up to watch (its airs at 12:30am here). It…
Totally get your point! I've been enjoying this drama a lot so far (as well as the pace of the story) but this episode felt a bit lackluster in comparison - which is fine as long as they don't end up stretching this for as much as possible. Jun as a character is quite interesting to be honest but it got rather annoying in this episode. But fingers crossed that the next episode will be better again!
4 episodes in and I have to say that this is probably the best on-going drama for me rn I love not only the dynamic between Thame and Po but also the dynamics between the band members. Looking forward to the next episode! ^^
The first episode was quite good. I like the characters so far, the story seems interesting and the OST is nice as well, really looking forward to the next episode!
I said this before but I will say it again: this series surprised me a lot, didn't expect it to be as enjoyable as it is but I can't help but look forward to the next episode every time. It's cute, fun and well-made (keeping in mind that this is a low-budget series if I remember correctly?) I really hope that this gets the recognition it deserves! ^^
Also agree on the last bit, it would've been nice to see some development between before vs. after the timeskip

for some reason, it didn't bother me that much at first but in ep4 it felt kinda off, especially the colour contacts haha
But fingers crossed that the next episode will be better again!
