I agree with most of what you said and it is well said.. the only point I would disagree on is your second reason..…
Lol i don't think i watched that trope before.
I love i need romance 3
I get push and pull...but repeatedly replaying the same scenes with no growth is annoying.
In i need romance 3. He challenges her and when she push away and came back. He made sure to have her show/know that is what she wanted.
I watched my old boy? (Ruby lin ) and i like the F.L. she never gave him hope and walked away because she knows the age gap is too much. She eventually accept her feelings but know there is more to it.
He was in college and she is a successful mess.
She told him to go pursue his dream and to grow up.
Ffw 6 years? He never gave up
Took me the 2nd time to fully watched it and enjoy it.
I agree with most of what you said and it is well said.. the only point I would disagree on is your second reason..…
i enjoyed www. But got really annoyed with her by the 3rd time. I got tired of it. These are repeat of the same formula. I started TSITR. I got annoyed with the grown ass women who can't decided and let her family control her life.
Majority of noona drama are like that. They play out what many is complaining about. Which is fine but don't repeat and recycle. At that point i was like. Boy just leave. You been chasing and now she needs to mend it.
O.T. with typical tropes. Indecisive noona, love tri, gender bender (ML last to know). Like the heck do you spend all your time with her and be the last to know?! Really? Hahaha... possessive 2nd lead. You don't own them and they don't owe you anything. Just because you like them and do nice things by your own free will doesn’t mean you can stake claim. -sorry rant
I like the noona romance in reply 1988. He was firm and consistent and didn't give in because of "status". At the end she made that decisions after their long break.
Sunwoo "i like you. You don't have to like me. That is on me."
Also as far as I know. In all noona drama the Male are the one pursuing.
Thai drama-remake of fierce wife. Mia 2018 i felt did a great job with their noona romance.
I agree with most of what you said and it is well said.. the only point I would disagree on is your second reason..…
I like that he knows. I hate gender bender where everyone knows but him.
He knew because her disguise came loose...he didnt cleverly find out which would be hard for him because of his condition.
Also we don't see her having much interactions with her teammates and other peers.
In the recent ep.....she kind of did.
I know there is scrawny guys....but...she can't pass for a college student in a hockey team...a 12 yr old boy...yes..i went into the drama laughing...but I'm enjoying it...it is cute and funny.
O.T Another pet peeve for me is that the noona can be soo annoying and indecisive.
I.e....www
At 1 point i was like urg.... your beaking up with him again with the same reason of a problem that didn't occur.
That why i couldn't watch love yourself. Hahaha...
I agree with most of what you said and it is well said.. the only point I would disagree on is your second reason..…
I have short attention span.
Yes it can..alter it since we have these expectations..... when watching any drama....i always go into it with a suspension of belief.....if it clicks...i am less bothered by it ....if the drama dont click... then it'll bother me.
90% of drama & movies are unrealistic fantasy....that is how i view it.
All these love triangles....hahaha....doesn't happen that often....ect...these tropes
I.e. my unicorn girl....she does not pass as a guy or a hockey player....i laugh at it going into it....but i tried it & is enjoying the characters......& plot...
Sometimes i just want that simple fluff that makes me giggle ...butterflies in my belly....the feel...
I tried it ans couldn't get into it...it also bothered me that the martial art guy didn't know they were being followed but the scholar heard someone following them.....what?!
I have no problems with age gaps....i am a bit vein with watching a grandpa with a young girl.
I feel like anything it depends on how a story and chemistry clicks with us.
Majority is subjective.
I didn't care for Mr.sunShine.....so i can say i find them awkward and wierd. -I Don't find them wierd or awkard but it was just of no interest to me.
I liked doctors and didn't found the overall interaction mature. She was an 18 yr old senior if memory serve me correctly.
For me it is the storyline and how it will click with me and keep my interests . I seen some of the drama...some i tried and dropped and i had no issues with any of the age gap.
In goblin - i felt the F.L lead looked older then her 19yrs of characters age. She looked 26 to me.
Again it is all how it clicks with you...the chemistry....
Mental maturity needs to be similar but that is not necessarily a success. Being soo much a like can be a big more ....many ppl like different personalities from themselves to challenge themselves....
Love is different for all....
I knoe many ppl with age gap......older and younger....i had a teacher who end up marrying a person who use to be his student....
Even though i don't like/ drop some of those drama. It had nothing to do with age gaps....also i don't have a bias because it is an age gap.
I find many ppl if they like the drama...the age gap don't bother them so much. I went into so many age gap drama expecting to not like it...because i read ppl saying how the age gap is soo bad....ect....lol
In conclusions.....i find ppl are more forgiving of a drama when they like/enjoyed that particular drama.
Lol BTS Jin is consider a grandpa ans he is only 28....
Agreed w/ Bonnie. It annoys me to no end when drama discussion (comment section) page is endless bashing on the…
even with personality.....
My sister is 10 yrs younger than Her hubby and sometimes she acts like an immature brat.
The point of relationships is to have an understanding with each other....many ppl are attracted to different personalities that can help them grow ane challenge them.
I like when characters challenge each other and build growth.
I really enjoyed Doctors. I felt they both were mature with their feelings...no real misunderstanding and push and pull. No one leading ppl on ....love the 2nd leads ans supporting...
But again....we all have story that click with us.
I can careless about age gap unless it was a grandpa with a youth
actually I watched a jdrama dear sister and the teacher is a 3rd guy so she doesn't end up with him but he did…
Doctor didn't bother me. Yes he developed something for her and she for him. But i felt he didn't cross the line and i found their relationship to be mature.
When they meet again. He was patients and never pushed it. The 2nd lead was awesome as well.
I felt this drama was mature...no love triangle....2 guy 2 girl...they didn't play games and straight to the point.
It helps that in R.L. i know many ppl who are together in similar situations and age gap.
My sister hubby is 10 yrs older.
My cousin g/f is ay least 10 yrs older.
My friend dates ppl base on how they give her the feels.....regardless of age (excluding minors)or looks.
The only thai remake i like was Mia 2018 (the fierce wife). I felt there was great growth within the main characters. Also a noona romance
I love i need romance 3

But yes i understand that "look" can alter the enjoyment....my point was that in reality many ppl don't look their age.....
Many time when i give it a chance.....i fall in love with the character/actor....then they become more attractive.
I feel like anything it depends on how a story and chemistry clicks with us.

Lol BTS Jin is consider a grandpa ans he is only 28....
Like the band BTS...jin who is 28 is considered an Old grandpa vs. Jk eho is more loved cuz he is younger....
Some ppl are say 21 but looks 28 and vs. Versa.
So looks don't determine age.
Many ppl look older and many ppl look younger.
What if a 21 yr old played a 21 yr old character but looks 28?
That won't be ok cuz they look 28 but they really are 21.....ect...
That is not ok? But it is their

I know plenty ppl who are together with age gap.
I really like doctors.
It again depends on the story and how it click.
I didn't watch romance is a bonus...but i think the FL looks good. Looks younger than her real age.
I didn't watch some of the dramas. I try dramas by storyline. Age gap don't bug me. Am i vain sometimes...sure mostly with grandpa looking ML.
When they meet again. He was patients and never pushed it. The 2nd lead was awesome as well.

I hope steven gets happiness too.
The guy that plays her brother is adorable lol
