That is where they mis-fire....we need to feel for all 4 characters in somewhat in a equal manner. They did not develop sjk & kjw well. Season 2 tanta has more development but it is focus on Saya. His character is grey like and interesting enough to stand alone w/o soo much history.

Actually....we end up not really seeing her that much....she is not that obsessive as the usual kdrama. She's annoying in that she tries and don't take a hint. But diff. Not overboard.

The mother, his dad, and 2nd F.L is annoying....other than that no real crazy drama....
He does tell her no often. She touches him. He say don't touch me. She sat in his space, he ask her what she is doing....why didn't she call 1st before she barge in. He invaded F.L. space and claiming to be his fiancee. He is at F.L. side and said No she's is no my fiancee. (Ep 4). He has never encourage her, not once taken her out or do anything with her. He .mostly disregards her...
Although I skimmed reply 1997....highly rated and I was bored to death. I skimmed to ep 10 thinking i will get into because of the high rating ....i never did.
Can't say I'm a fan of all the cliche.
But ...somehow It click and i am able to enjoy it.
The 2nd leads Male I loveable. The 2nd lead female is the typical K drama kind.
They don't result into any crazy love triangle nor conflict.
I feel the conflict is within themselves.
The writers missed a great opportunity to explore that and create better growth. I felt they got lazy and come out.
The chemistry and leads were cute enough that it gave me the Feel. I felt giddy. 1 scene where he goes....why is her food getting cuter and cuter...lol
I think it's the epilogue.
It is fully of silliness but their interactions gave me butterflies and I felt like I'm falling in love with them....
Saya is savage! His revenge on her....he looked scary....I ship them....probably because they have more interactions. Although she grew up with eueson they didn't have much interactions. It's a tagon and Tar Ah arch.

This drama has soo much criticism from ppl. Comparing to GOT which is has no resemblance at all...ect...lots of hater for unrelated reason.
As for me I felt like this will happen and I had no expectations for it really. I felt like it was overly hype and for sure ppl will be disappointed.
I would like to like/enjoy it better. So far I haven't. I also feel like for a base we don't fully get to know E & T. I feel we will know them better in season 2 I hope.
