He was acting like the lil girl which got her to break out of her shell. He was helping his friend out. The M.L. isn't perfect....but the F.L. chasing is brave but it comes off cringey and annoying. I felt that way reading the novel.
It gets better as they are on mutual grounds and understanding......if I didn't like yang zi... I'll prob drop it. ....it helps that i read the novel before this air....I find it unappealing with the girl is stalking and the other party ...like a clingy 2nd f.L/m.l

If you already like the actor and they did a bad drama... you'll be more forgiving but not vice versa.

Sometime we just don't vibe with the character and it translate to not liking the actor.
