It is....it depends in how they do it. Remake of fierce wife is diffinetly better than the original to me.

Mia 2018 was really good. I went to see fierce wife and it was slow processing and didn't have that impact

I feel it they made her thicker it will me the same....

I feel certain remakes are more like adaptations

I tried the k version and it didn't click. The teaser looks fun. My fierce wife original version was not interesting to mr ad Mia 2018. They remade it well with an updated flare

Now that I finish rewatching and paid extra attention....lol

My theory is that during the human world....he is "human", he feels hunger...sweat...ect....when he came out at the end there is no differences.....so I feel they go old together.

In the manga

She choose not to eat the peace and become immortal and dies.....I think I read he waits for her reincarnation

I'm rewatching this and is enjoying it. Nam roo si is my favorite.

Actually I like all the characters.

Haebeak and nam roo si as a duo is soo stupidly hilarious.

Bi ryum is funny and charismatic. He makes Krystal's character fun/funny their interactions. They were cute. I wish she realize she like him back sooner

There is many lol moments between the leads.

The swing - she was showing the kids the twist on the swing and fell over.

She's like ... I'm good you don't have to help me. She looked up and he was walking away saying, this women is so embarrassing.

Krystal to Haebaek - I dont like your cloths.....hahaha

Habaek drunk and talking to the mailbox about being rejected and alone.....hahaha...

There are soo many funny moments.

I took the ending as a happy one...I choose to just be all good with that. I rewatched it so i came to the forum. I know ppl don't like the ending. The ending is similar to the manga. She choose to just stay human....

The manga is different....i skim it...this is more like an adaptation. I didn't read the manga...sooo....

I got curious and Google the manga.

The ending matches the manga. In the manga she chose the same thing. To remain human until the dying day.

The love "triangle" isn't as bad ....it's in fact very tame ...compare to the love tri centric of 80% of Asian drama...scarlet heart...esp. when the girl can't decide...that is soo annoying

Manipulations wins in hand to hand combat....many war has lost to manipulations.

Nirvana in fire. 1 of the Male lead is a strategist and he manupulated the situation. He won hands down.

The other was a soldier and he always lost to the manipulations no matter how good he was at fighting.

I.e. game of thrones...Ceres is the queen of manipulations and she was the most successful without having to touch a weapon

Hahaha....so I just rewatched this...so I came to the forum. I didn't realize there is a versus of characters.....

To me it is NOT who is a better character....that is base on how a character resonates with us....it is more of a which one we click with and therefore end up liking more that the other.

I like the otp of Phoenix and grape since they gave me the feels.

Reading and replying to some comments.....I can see why it is called ashes of love....all these ppl dying for love....

I feel all they characters are flawed and have their reasons. They all have selfish moments and manipulations...some were unintentional and some were intentional. I also don't feel any characters deserve something more than the other's. They all deserve love....more importantly a reciprocal love.

I root for the reciprocal love.

I don't like love triangle. I avoid these drama like the plagues. In 90% of a love triangle the 1 sided love always feel like just because they did all these things for them (their choosing by the way) that they deserves their love and force their feeling on them. Sorry, just because you love them and did things for them doesn't mean you will get their love and they owe you their love. You deserve love and deserve someone who mutually share your love. If it is forced. It become possession of the body because you know they don't love you but want to keep them. That irks me.

I don't rem. Her name...but that girl that stayed by run yu side....now that is unconditional love. She love and support him in all aspect and never forces her feeling on him. She didn't feel she deserve his love even when she did soo much for him. To love him and see him happy is all she wanted. If run yu was like that...I would probably have SLS....but also if he was like that.....hahaha.....we won't have this more intense storyline of history repeating itself with this tragic love story.

At the end....it is how a characters make us feel and how we resonate with them....but that doesn't mean that, that character is better and isn't wrong in certain choices they made.

1 of the best quote is from a thai lakorn. Love beyond frontier which I skim. Hahaha....it actually is also a love triangle between 2 brothers from a different mother.

It is actually a love square but the 4th person. The characters Pat is objective and is loving and supportive to all the character. They don't deserve her ....but lucky to have her. This is one of the best quote she said.

So he is the one sided love and he "kind of let go". He step aside to let her be with him. He punches the other guy because he cause the girl he like to be sad. The fight.

..Girl- .stop being blinded just because you love her. Your an unreasonable fool with no logic (fighting and blaming without knowing what really happen). Everyone has their reasons.

When we like someone or something we are more emphatic to their plight and is more understanding and forgiving.....but doesn't mean the choices they did still isn't wrong.

I tried ten miles of peach and it didn't click with me and dropped it. I didn't go hang out at their forum either to state why I didn't like it. I wasted my time here....at a forum of a drama I liked...

They all deserve happiness.....they all sacrifices something for the ppl they love.

I don't feel back for them....they choose to do it...no one force them...

An awesome character was that girl that stood by run yu side....that is true love
..thick & thin...unconditional love...by choice...never asked for anything in return and never try to force her feelings on him...as long as she love and support him by his side....and he is happy...she's happy...that is true love....what run yu did to me isn't....is his life tragic ...yes....does ge deserve love yes....they all deserve love with the person who also mutually loves them

He did have someone who loved him dearly and did a lot of things for him. He just never looked at her. She was by his side through it all...loved and supported him without asking for anything.

That is what true love is. Not forcing their feeling on anyone ....still loving and supporting the person.

If jin mi loved run yu....I have no problem with them because that is where her heart is. But the fact is that is not where her heart lies and on top of that. He knew that it was 1sided.

But her heart lies with Xu Feng. They love each other. xu feng is only responding to his heart and she also loved him. Mutual romantic love.
