Xu feng also didn't fall in love with her until after like a 1000 year together. The pill was affected. You see it glowing and her chest hurt. In the mortal world the effect of it was more intense in the process and it started to crack. Even then it still intact but cracked until run yu repaired to full force again.
I see it like a rock....with the water dropping on jt....it takes a long time before it start to effect it and break.
Isn't it MOON's job to tie the red string to pair people. I can't fault him for that. He is in a sense cupid. That is what he has suppose to do.
Run yu is also a flawed character. Yes he loves her and take care of her....but that doesn't mean someone owe you their love because you are nice to them. It was your choice. No one force you to do it. Manipulating the situations and forcing your feeling on someone who you clearly knows don't romantically love you is selfish.
I find them all flawed characters. And selfish...we are all a bit selfish
I disagrees on this xu feng vs. Run yu....it's silly...just because you like 1 characters over another doesn't make that character better or more righteous.

Again a stupid love triangle. Guy1 yells at guy 2 for hurting girl 1. He likes girl 1 therefore she seems to do no wrong. Girl 2 block him.

SHE KNOWS HE DOESN'T LOVE HER AND DOES LOTS OF THINGS FOR HIM BY CHOICE. NEVER ONCE SHE DEMAND HIS LOVES OR think SHE DESERVES IT BECAUSE SHE DOES THESE THINGS FOR HIM. They all did a wrist grabbing....it is unfortunately a asian trope.
Is he arrogant yes...is he entitled..in a sense...he was brought up that way...he had no problem sharing with his brother...(his mom manipulates many situations) ...but if she was able to clearly say she didn't love him and want nothing to do with him. I firmly believe his character would've left her alone.

Xu feng has no problem sharing with him. These are the Sins of the parents.
That is also the point of the story....history repeating itself....and the Sins of the parents manipulating the situation.

Love is something that CAN'T be forced. If you really love someone and they don't share the same feelings....them being happy is what we should root for....at this point it is about possession of their body....I can't be behind that.

I.e. I chose to do all these nice things and sacrifice for you because I love you....therefore you OWE me your love because I did so much for you. Even though I clearly know you have no romantic feelings for me.

Each character carries the tragic history of their parents and it catapulted to them.

We have to remember Jinmi has the unfeeling pill. Although naturally she gravitate to xu feng because in her heart she loves him but it is blocked by the pill.
They each love her for her carefree and silly personality. She makes them smile and their heart flutters.

Being smart and having common sense are 2 different things. Some of us are fortunate to have both and some of us is one or the other.
If you can't stand it dont continue. There is an explanation of why she is like that. The pill manipulates her feeling to distinguish certain things. She also lived a shelter world.
They said she can't cultivate because she is lazy and have no motivation.

I also skip those scenes and then later went back and rewatched and it was good. They all emote soo well.
I don't like angst but...I went back and skim the villians...their scenes with the other actors is good. Her remorse and realization of what happen even before she suspect there was shady things...what she did for him
