Yeah I know right! Why can't people appreciate how much he has achieved instead of bringing him down. His filmography is incredible impressive despite being a rookie actor.

Avenue X did mention that based off the trailer this drama doesn't seem to be historically accurate. I don't care though lol, since I am not Chinese. As long as the plot is good, I will watch.

I agree with MJTY because the script made his character really weak and dislikable, but I really enjoyed his performance in SKOP. He is a rookie actor, I mean he has only acted for around 4 years, but he is improving his acting role after role. As you mentioned Pei Wen Xuan is indeed a very complicated character, he has many layers and could be very difficult to protray for a rookie actor. But it is a great role that can really push ZLH, hopefully he can handle the pressure. I am not going to judge his acting untill I watch the drama, but I hope he does well.

Guys I really miss the Leimai pairing, they actually have so much chemistry. Even though their scenes in the drama was amazing, I have to admit the have much more chemistry off screen lol. I really want to see them get paired again, especially in a historical. I know its unlikely but they are both young, it might happen 10 years later. Thats ok, I will wait until I see those 2 again in a drama.

I think the reason why some people don't like this show is because they binge watched it. I watched it whilst it was airing, so I was really able to savour their relationship, but I admit if I binge watched it I might also find it boring.

I watched the first 4 episodes and I am so confused. Like what is with all the time skips and so many things seem to be happening with little explanation. I am also not a fan of the huge number of flashbacks, I would prefer if the explain the ml's thought process of how he came up with idea and shown us the full process of how the executed it, for example showing the viewers beforehand that the father is alive. Does ep 5 and 6 get better, or is it just as confusing.

From the trailer ZJM is indeed giving girl boss energy. The director is known to weaken the fl, hopefully he doesn't do that because her character in the novel is really powerful and I want to see ZJM protray that so badly.

I think it is a rumor. Zhao Jin Mai is still filming drifting away right now. Also, this pairing is not listed on Douban or any other website except twitter. I would like to see them both act in a historical drama though, both of them are very good actors.

In the first ep it is hyun woo's pov, that is why we relate to him and feel sorry for him. I think the 2nd ep will be from hae in's pov. It will be great to see how the story will unfold from her perspective.

Hmm maybe you can try watching the new drama with Zhou Ye and Lin yi? I am kinda the opposite as I rarely watch romance lol. AASOL is the drama that bought me back into romance.
