I have noticed that some actors are called traffic stars if they film idol dramas and only those who film movies or serious dramas are called "real" actors by cnetz. Which I guess is slightly true since acting in more serious roles requires a higher acting ability. I feel like Bai Lu is one of those actresses who is able to play any role convincingly, she is a very versatile actress. Bai Lu is still young, I'm sure she will get more opportunities in the future to showcase her acting skills by acting in some serious productions.

Hmmm, but it is true that Bai Lu has a huge fanbase. Most of her endorsements do sell well, but her dramas are also really good. She deserves the popularity.
