I think this sets up her charecterisation of using her powers to help those in need instead on focusing on cultivation. I remember in the previous eps, the gods hated siling because she stole things, maybe she did it to help the mortals.

You can never trust cdrama endings. This drama is original script, so we have no idea how the drama will end. The last original script drama I watched resulted in everyone dying (ajtl). But even if a drama is based on a novel and has a happy ending, they can always change that to a bad ending (tdhr). Or a drama can say they have a happy ending since the main couple survives, but all the side characters dies (mm), personally that is not a happy ending to me. Anyway yuzheng said this is a happy ending, but I have no idea what his definition of happy ending is. Hopefully main couple + important side characters survive.
