I saw a couple of people say that they are gonna drop this after watching the 1st ep. Trust me you don't know the whole story yet, the fl might be doing some questionable things but it looks like she has ulterior motives. I will list a couple of things below which I thought was the fl being "stupid", but in reality is cunning!

I was talking about certain scenes that made her stupid in my opinion. For example when she was returning to her residence and saw the runaway bride. The bride literally told her to runaway but she stayed still and let herself get kidnapped. When I was watching that ep I was like "girl what are you doing, like RUN!". But now I think she purposefully got caught to make the ml feel bad and let her stay in the palace with him. Every thing that might appear "stupid", is actually a calculated move.
I don't think she is stupid rather she is hiding in sheeps clothing 🤭
I starting to think that as well after the snake encounter. Really shocked me since she did do some weird things and the ml is always questening whether this is a coindicence, and I'm like "nah she is an idoit". But now I think she tricked me lol, what a plot twist!

I am really trusting that noon won't do this. I think the side characters scenes will be cut, unless they have someone backing them. The novel mostly focuses on the fl and ml, so the drama better not cut their scenes.
The script has only 28 eps, so it's fine, didn't cut much.
Ok that makes me feel better, I thought the cast filmed for 40 eps and all of their hardwork was gonna get cut off. 4 eps getting cut is not as bad as 16.
Haha one thing I have learnt is to never read the sypnosis or watch the trailer since it reveals the whole plot. Good thing I haven't done both, so can't wait to watch this when it airs.

Yes I guess everyone is trying to be optimistic. I think the drama will air in July, so I guess we will get more promotions near then. But yeah since it is already confirmed for 24 eps, there is not much we can do but pray that the main storyline doesn't get affected.
Ok so I was reading through weibo and it looks like no one is really panicked since the original novel is short, and the script length was supposed to be around 20 eps. So the number of eps being 24 is decent as long as the editors keep the main storyline.
Now what I am worried about is who's screentime is getting cut. Honestly I would prefer if it's the side characters, (though I do feel bad since they also worked very hard and don't deserve that) since the story mainly focuses on the growth of the main characters.
But you never know how c-ent works and maybe there is a supporting actor who they are trying to promote, so they might get more screentime in the expense of the main characters. Since this is a noon production, I am really hopeful that this won't happen. They are a reputable company that works honestly.
Anyway I am still sulking about the episode reduction, but I am still looking forward to this drama. It is my most anticipated one for this year! Please no choppy editing, keep the main charcter's screentime and don't stray from the main script 🙏
