I think many people dropped it due to the 2nd ml (he has many scenes in the 2nd half and some people feel like the ml became a side character due to this), and some people don't like the fl because she isn't like the typical fl, she is very closed off and rude to the ml since she doesn't trust him.

But they still like each other and as the drama progresses they communicate more and get closer. She usually doesn't communicate properly but shows her love through her actions. She protects the ml, stands up for him, and cares for him by cooking etc. The ending is happy.

I haven't read the novel but based off the bts it seems like a growth story. They have scenes from their childhood, middle school, high school, uni and work life. I think most of the scenes could be from high school bur it wouldn't focus fully on student life since it is more about family, friendship and the relationship between ml and fl.
