I am loving this drama so much and just went to douban to check how many people have watched it. Around 150k people have rated the drama which means it is very popular but I was shocked with the score. A 5.4 really??? I know I shouldn't trust douban scores because haters mass down rate it but this is way too low for a masterpiece like this. Like there is nothing wrong with the plot. And then I read the reviews and majority of them didn't even finish watching the drama. They dropped it after a couple of eps. I think it is only fair to rate a drama after watching at least half of it.

Yay im on ep 20 and am so glad that they are dating. I hope they don't breakup since we only have around 12 eps for them to date.

I wonder what she films after wandering earth. I have heard rumours that it is either we live in Nanjing or a historical drama. Or it could be something completely different, who knows. I really do hope she can act in we live in Nanjing because I would love to see her in an apocalypse drama, and I feel like this kind of drama is rare in cdramaland. It's very unique.

Wait but why are they buying eps, like if the show is already filmed then the money is already put in the production right? Its weird because this drama was only supposed to have 24 eps, but youku approved for the production to increase the ep count. I hope they don't back down.

Also this drama is gonna air on cctv and other major broadcast channels, hopefully this means that they will have more promotions and more people backing them up for 40 eps 🙏

I am really enjoying it but its because I wasn't expecting it to be realistic. Most idol dramas are n't realistic, its just for us to enjoy. I know that there will never be a sang yan in real life that is why I enjoy watching him on screen! Yifan's character seems quite realistic though, I think there are many women who unfortunately went through what she did. It is rare for an idol drama to have a fl like this, and I appreciate that.
