Why is it taking so long? Wasn't the previous season in 2022, I can't believe season 2 is airing like 4 years later. If there is a season 3 the cast will be like 30 by then, no point having a high school setting.
hell nah, don't go out dragging Our Generation 😭 y'all just didn't get my traumatized qiaoxi and it's fine.…
I get you. I don't condone his actions but I really do understand him. He grew up in a emotionally abusivd household and had was facing adversity in hong kong. I understand why he ghosted her and was so happy when the fl didn't give up. They deserved that happy ending!
I feel like you have no right to judge a drama without watching it.
I think the best way to judge a drama is by watching it, then you can come to your own conclusion about whether it is worth watching or not. Yes it is a slow burn, but it is not boring at all. The story moves forward all the time, especially the relationship and the characters. There are no useless filler episodes, so the slow burn actually feels rewarding instead of dragging. Majority of the people who have watched the drama ended up enjoying it. But again it is up to you whether you like it or not.
swl and zjm are so awkward at even with no cp sense as if they did not kiss more than 20 times😂
We are entitled to our own opinion even if they are wrong. I watched the drama with my own eyes and they were oozing chemistry by just standing together. Their cp was so natural which is why many of us loved the drama.
Wait that's actually really good! Most idol dramas don't usually get above 7.
Idol dramas are dramas with actors who have big fanbases. Most idol dramas revolve around romance.
So in China there are idol dramas and "serious dramas". The serious ones usually has a veteran cast and their genres are like crime, slice of life ect whereas idol dramas are modern romance or historical wuxia/xianxia. There is a stigma that idol dramas usually are not as good as serious dramas due to the actors not being as good as the veterans.
Most idol dramas get downrated on douban because of fanwars or because the general public don't like it, which is why many cdramas popular internationally would still get a 6 on douban.
The main goal for many actors would be to act in more serious roles since you get more appreciation and recognition from the general public. So many famous idol actresses, such as yangzi and yangmi, have already started to transition. Just using mai mai as an example a idol drama would be SOM and a serious drama is drifting away, but there are dramas like reset which ends up being both.
Anyway since douban ratings are skewed, getting a 7 is considered good.
