7.4 is high for douban ratings. Most idol dramas get between 5 and 6. A rating of 7 is equivalent to a 8 on mdl.

Back in 2022 when I saw reset and was amazed by her acting, I actually ended up watching all of her shows and movies. It was great to see her development and she was amazing at acting even at a young age. The older shows don't have eng subs so I just watched without it.

I think the best way to judge a drama is by watching it, then you can come to your own conclusion about whether it is worth watching or not. Yes it is a slow burn, but it is not boring at all. The story moves forward all the time, especially the relationship and the characters. There are no useless filler episodes, so the slow burn actually feels rewarding instead of dragging. Majority of the people who have watched the drama ended up enjoying it. But again it is up to you whether you like it or not.

I feel like you have no right to judge a drama without watching it.
