Just wanted to add that, I didn't also get when she figured out that Le was her son in the beginning and that…
That is what I'm saying, it's not just you. The play out was confusing.

I'm with everyone else here who can't understand the lack of emotion/just going through the motions on the parts…
Just wanted to add that, I didn't also get when she figured out that Le was her son in the beginning and that she was plotting by getting close to that great lady (fiencée) because of how all of that was portrayed. The director did a poor job in that and the sound track was flat. No tension was belt.

these 2 are the most dull and passionless leads ever. What romance? I can’t believe such emotionless people can…
The stoicism in this drama is incredible and the logic of grown people is out of the window. the sound track couldn't be more doll then this. No suspense and no passion. The conflicts are so illogical it's hurt my heart. From the father running away because he fells guilty for twelve years and she forgive him just like that? to the mother blaming him for his R*pist brother's suicide? to the kid taking ballet lessons and abandoning it midway for what? who knows? and coming back just because (for the sake of the plot). And the best friend who tourn evil just for the sake of it. waou..... what a treat.

maybe thats how he was directed to act, its such a bland portrayal of all characters I think its the script or…
so bland, no substance. the way they react to big revelations ( Fl, Ml and the son)... you won't even fell any tension. Maybe it's the sound track? everyone is so stoic it's doesn't fell like a drama .

I think the Genre is wrong for this drama. It would be better to remove the romance from its Genre.
totally agreed. Or introduced a new secondary relationship.

There's one side couple but majority of the viewers hate the pairing. The writer handled this pairing very poorly.
I watched it. hated them together, the guy was such a great guy, helped the girl grown into a decent human being and could have routed for them if the girl wasn't horrible in the beginning and treated her sister in law so badly. because of that I hate seeing them together.

Considering the female lead is such a bitch who only thinks about herself and is a selfish peeve herself, I'd…
No she isn't.

Ji Soo is an ungrateful egoist and I say that to be polite. The only good thing about her is that she was so awful…
The love of her life? Just because you love someone, does that mean they have to love you back? what do you mean the adoptive parents didn't love her?

they loved her so much that the mum felt guilty by the way she was treating her own daughter that's way she sent her away so that she would have to keep suffering with founding a great job and help support the family and so on.

Ji su is mad at her biological mother because she lost her???? are you kidding me? who would want to lose their child like that and get blame by her own super strict family?

she is mad because they didn't welcome her in her own family? they have just been deceived by someone claiming to be their daughter, they grew to love the fake one and feelings just don't go away.

I loved that she was just being her self there but she did not ,once thought or care about her biological parents feelings or her younger sister who was also struggling.
Talk about victim mentality. having an inferiority complex toward her sister is not everyone's problem.

she should work on it international not blame the world about it. the guy she likes started liking her back when he realized his old feelings for her sister were gone. why is that her sister's responsibility??? Living in your sister's shadow like you said , it's hard but it's not her sister's fault if she felt that way. she should work on those feelings.

could agree more. I hated her self pity parties and her victim mentality in every episode. I don't understand how anyone can stand a person acting with no social awareness 🙃.

Honestly, it’s exhausting to watch how ML went from Prince Charming to stage-five clinger real quick. How many…
exactly what I was thinking. He did not hear her at all. it's became exhausting and incomfortable to watch. After her leaving that house, the male lead had a character assassination by becoming a stalker with no job. she said no so many time and his response? a smile...??? WDF?

is it good?
it's so sweet it's gives the vibe of love to hate you but more japanese style , slow and cute with adult presenting actors.

I have to vent. just finished ep 14 and I can't understand why it's bad of her to do her job and everybody is acting like she is the devil. She has no previous relationship with that lady that her husband is cheating on. her branch is doing poorly and it had a big commission. She couldn't have known about her partner past because he never told her. More importantly, everybody is turning a blind eye to that man who is cheating and being the most disgusting human being and she is getting slapped?? what a jock. she is literally just doing her job. Even if she said no, he still could have found another agency, literally right next door.

Sangyeon was hardly a great person, but she wasn't bad either. The only pity is she realized her mistakes and…
Sangyeon characters is so complicated. My take is that, she is gravely insecure because she has never experienced unconditional love. Her mother was to busy worrying about the oldest child that she forgot to take good care of her. on the other end Eunjung, is best friend with her mother and feel secure enough to talk freely to her, she isn't afraid of being misunderstood because her mother actually listens to her. Two things can be true at once , sangyeon'mum was a great teacher but a verry bad mother. Sangyeon, seeing Eunjung get both a good mother and a wonderful teacher must have hurt because she got none as a child. I fell like, if she was told how to open up and talk about her feelings in a safe space by her family, she could have been great friend with Eunjung. But noticed that ,They were actually not friends during the entire serie. They became friend in the last episodes because she expressed herself in the letter. Eunjung is loyal, loving and have great moral. Just in all a wonderful human being, and all that, partly because she was raised right but also because she always questioned herself ,to see if her heart was in the right place. this is a story of a one-sided friendship, that end in tragedy. A story of a lonely soul who learns too late how accept being loved.

Li Shuang was too soft? You and I couldn't even survive the mental breakdown if we got tortured and almost got…
they introduced a new plot and we are great full of it. I love the usual revenge and betrayal plot. But I'm greatful that I had this entertaining show where I had no idea where it was going, till the end I wasn't sure but it didn't disappoint.
