Yeah, me too🤞🏻 and yes, I am just a huge kdrama fan and I unknowingly started quite early (first kdrama in 2013 before I even knew of the kdrama world lol)😊 usually I prefer thrillers and action, but family dramas are my weakness😂
please give me a reason why i should continue this drama after eps 13
I am currently watching ep 9 and debating whether I should drop this as I can't quite get into this drama. Reading your comment makes me believe that it won't get better. I was intrigued by the plot at first but I have seen dramas with similar plot/scenes that had me more attached.

No worries! I have watched Never Twice, Once Again (loved it) and My Father Is Strange. Ugly Alert is high up on my list. I started What Happens to My Family 4 years ago and stopped for some reason. Would you recommend picking it up again?
And I don't mind older dramas, sometimes I prefer them over newer dramas.
The good question is WHY, what is your relationship to alcohol that this irks you so much?
That person is questioning anyone daring to criticise this drama. Even if it is not criticism but just the fact that not everyone likes this drama. As if alcoholism could be the only reason for people to not enjoy the drama. I started this drama and I am not a fan either, just can't get into it (and no, I don't have an alcohol problem nor do I drink regularly)

I downrated it a bit as some bits were infuriating, but I couldn't stop watching😂 I don't mind dropping dramas but this one got me attached and I actually did enjoy watching. I do love family dramas as well. Which ones would you recommend (maybe I haven't watched them yet)?
this scene is she cheating on him !? and if they are together is they ended together or he break up with her and…
so, she gets together with a rich guy (Hyowon's brother Hyosang). However, Taeyang works in the same company and she acts as if she still has a say in Taeyang's life (who quickly focused on himself rather than the ex). Due to that, she becomes miserable. She managed to get engaged to Hyosang, who eventually becomes broke, so she is engaged (and I am not sure whether they actually got married) to a guy who lost his job and money. She runs away at first (the materialistic person she is), but eventually they have their "happily ever after". I still don't like her, and there was no real redemption. But despite her still acting high and mighty yet meek throughout the drama, she also looked so pathetic. Their scenes are not that many, though, so it is certainly manageable

No worries. I prefer mature romance over childish ones as well. And I absolutely loved Road Home too. I also understand your points regarding Arsenal Military Cademy and Best Choice Ever as I at times felt the same. I am planning to watch The Oath of Love, Love Scout and Meet Yourself. I am curious how the romance in these dramas is going to be😊

Oh, wait. She doesn't have an ex or anything. Her whole focus is on ML. And she is more like naive due to being raised rich but she is not looking down or anything. It is more like, she is buying everything because she has the money. But she doesn't mind working. Though, in the beginning she is not properly working due to knowing that she is rich and as she got the job due to being part of her family. But she is not intentionally flaunting her money. It is literally naivity. And ML quickly explains that money cannot always bring happiness and that he doesn't want everything gifted. So, she gets creative.

Oh, and I don't know if you watched the following dramas and whether you watch Chinese dramas, but here are some dramas with mature romance that I quite enjoyed (Korean and Chinese): You Are My Glory Amidst a Snowstorm of Love Run On Road Home Best Choice Ever Hospital Playlist 1+2 (though, medical focused) Once Again Falling Into Your Smile Crash Landing on You
If you like subtle romance in action dramas or dramas that are nor quite romance focused but certainly include some, I liked and can recommend: Operation: Special Warfare (mainly military) Stealth Walker (mainly police/undercover work) Arsenal Military Academy (historical, WWII) Battle of Changsha (FL childish in the beginning but matures; historical, WWII) You Are My Hero The Long Ballad (historical) Flower of Evil Jun Jiu Ling (historical) The Princess' Man (historical) Mr. Sunshine (historical and very tragic)

I don't know if it helps or not, but here is my comment/review of the drama: "My first instinct is to say that the drama is great, but I have a confession to make: I skipped so many scenes. So I guess I cannot say that. While I initially disliked quite a few characters, I warmed up to them during their character development. My favourite couple was Taeyang x Hyowon; however, the other couples certainly had their heartwarming moments too. I reckon I could recommend this as a nice family drama, but I have seen better. Many people enjoyed this one, so do not let yourself get influenced by my rating. I do not regret watching this and some scenes I have skipped can be nice to watch. Nonetheless, I rate this a 6/10 due to the fact that I felt like skipping so much."
Also, the guy kind of tolerates it but also confronts her when she oversteps things. Like, he is not someone who is constantly backing down. She has her difficulties accepting that but in most cases she does accept it and tries to change to become a better person. He is very calm, which doesn't mean that he can easily bullied. And he is standing up against his ex (I actually loved how he solved it as he constantly put her in her place). The FL is essentially someone who was spoilt by her mum but she is a nice girl. It is the typical rich but sweet girl. She does what she wants but she is not ignorant to other people's feelings. She is quite caring. Nonetheless, I wouldn't quite categorise any of the couples as mature romance.
And thank you! I hope you have a nice day as well :)

Ah, it is not too early but I liked the build-up. I don't quite remember the ep-count as I skipped some of the other scenes as I mostly watched for those two. I'd say you should give it a try. If you don't like the other couples, you can skip quite a few scenes. I mean my original comment up there kind of spoilt that there are some infuriating scenes with other couples. It is deffo a journey but I enjoyed them before they got together as well because they helped each other grow. However, beware: they can be childish, especially the girl. So if you want a quick and mature romance, you should skip this. They will mature in the end, especially the girl. But it can take some time as it is a long drama and other couples also have a lot of screen time. Did you find the drama through the romance plot or the actors? If it is romance, then you might like the other couples. But if it is the actors, they have comparably less screen time than the others. Also, if you don't care about the others and only this couple, you'd have to skip a lot. I guess it depends on what you like and how you prefer watching Dramas.

I don't quite remember when they get together but I think it was quite clear that they like each other early in the drama. There is no amnesia. I also don't think that they broke up. In between (before they got together) they had an argument but it was solved quickly. Also, the girl's brother is against them but can't really do anything. At first, the mother was against him but she quickly changes her mind when she realised that he is a decent man. The mother actually tries to hang out with the couple because she really likes them. It can be annoying but it is also somewhat cute😂 trust me, despite the mum's objections, nothing can stop the two😊 and also, don't worry. I don't mind answering the questions :)

So, as soon as he finds out about his ex's ugly character, he quickly moves on (quite early in the drama). No interest in her whatsoever, which the ex absolutely hates (lmao). He has his morals and he pretty much sticks to it. He just goes his own way. He is "weak" in the sense that he is at the bottom of the ladder but he is not emotionally weak. Also, he is not sipping. Actually, the new love interest fights to gain his attention as he is just focused on his career and life at first. So, he is actually quite strong in his believes and what he wants to achieve. Later on, the mother of the new love interest tries to get him to follow a career path, which he entertains as he likes that girl's family, but he is still sticking up for his own wishes, which the new love interest absolutely respects (she actually supports him). I hope that helped. I enjoyed the Young couple the most:)

Yes, she is cheating on him. She breaks up with him as he is too poor and lacks a "proper" standing in society. He will eventually find someone else (or more like the someone else finds him hehe).
eps 1-9: Each case seems to resonate with one of the characters in some way as we see their private lives out…
you mean more negotiating than investigating? Because I kind of agree with that. And the negotiation is not even that great😅 I have only watched 3 eps but they do not make their team look quite talented, more like they are lucky that their errors have not resulted in worse situations
