I tried really hard to like the drama, and while I can see the appeal, I don't understand a rating this high.…
Good thing that I dropped it, then. 5 eps of forcing myself through were enough for me

I dropped after 5 eps because I was already forcing myself through those, and the thought of 35 more eps was just daunting.

stupid female lead all brawn no brain
I tried really hard to like the drama, and while I can see the appeal, I don't understand a rating this high. I guess I expected something else. The FL was the final nail in the coffin - had to drop it.

someone told me that they sometimes do it due to the different dialects etc. I might be wrong, though.

lol, keep watching. You'll have your mind blown out the back of your skull haha
I keep it "on hold" for now, but I do plan to continue and finish the drama. I haven't quite given up on it, and I will keep your words in mind👍🏻

The setting is obvious dystopian but the content is romance and comedy
Yeah, I have recently seen a doco about a woman who is in a relationship with an AI Drake, not just a chat but including characters/avatars. She created an avatar for herself as well.
I am 100% convinced that something like this would be implemented within the next years. There is a Korean drama where a mother meets her deceased daughter via VR, and I could see that as a stepping stone to VR Dating

I mean, yes, I just didn't expect it to be this dystopian tbh. I haven't finished the drama yet, so I don't know how they will deal with the whole thing in the end. But so far, I felt really uncomfortable and don't really enjoy the virtual boyfriends etc. I saw someone further down in the comments saying that this would be a dream for every girl. But I find it haunting.

People who really enjoy reading comics might love this drama..after watching some episodes I realized it’s definitely…
Lol, I've been going through my watchlist and all dramas that I doubted, dropped or wasn't interested in were dropped by you. I will take your comments as a guidance😂

I'm glad i dropped this lol reading the comments about sml and fl. I wanted a nice drama that explored family…
Same here. I put the drama on hold after ep 6. Reading the comments, it'd be wise to just drop it. They advertised a family drama of raising a nephew together and they cannot even write a FL that seriously takes care of her nephew. They advertised one thing just to release another, which I would not have watched if they advertised it correctly.

I haven't watched last week's eps yet as I want to watch them with the ones being released this week.
But from the eps I have seen (and some clips of eps 7&8), I really don't understand how the writers didn't even try to portray the FL as a good aunt. In the beginning, she was fighting for Woo Ju. Of course she was overwhelmed, everyone would be after losing their sister and brother-in-law and having to take in their nephew. But she seemed to have gotten over the deaths fairly quickly, the only reminiscence is that she feels bad for their last conversation. But then she constantly neglects her nephew. She prioritises her old flame over her nephew. As an aunt to two nephews, I absolutely cannot understand that. If romance happens naturally on the side, alright. But the top priority should be the nephew, his health, his wellbeing and creating a stable environment for him. Her sunbae is not running away. Hell, he is her boss, so telling him to wait until the situation with her nephew is stabilised should be no problem. Also, all of this is happening in such a short time that I am absolutely questioning the FL's sanity and sincerity. She doesn't have to give up love forever, but, again, at such a crucial time her nephew needs to come first. At the moment, I would absolutely deem her unfit to act as a guardian. It is quite frankly disappointing.

I finished the drama and left it at 7/10, but Hiro seriously deserves justice. He ended up being my favourite character.

I haven't finished the drama yet, but I feel the same. Though, I would rate it a 7/10 at the moment. I would also add that the drama feels like a 12-ep ad: for the countries, for different artists (e.g. the Canadian singer), for food and drinks, for other films (especially Netflix production). Due to the double personality arch I am forcing myself through the eps at the moment. I like the actors and it is definitely not due to them. But their characters seem a bit shallow. They have their story but for some reason I still don't feel any depth (Hiro seems to have more depth and personality, lol). The camera work is quite good, though.

I used to live close to Banff, Canada, and the drama made me miss it so much.

I just finished the 4th episode. so far I’m really enjoying it. One thing I find hilarious as a Canadian is…
omg, this annoyed me tbh because that is one of my weird obsessions. I've lived in Canmore for a year, so I know the area, and they seemed to portray Banff as the downtown area of what was essentially Calgary. All the distances made no sense, and I know that it is not important for the story at all, but it irked me.

ah, I have only started the drama, so I have not really seen much. But that truly sounds like shitty editing/planning. It usually also bothers me when the voice over doesn't match the mouth movements

The only thing I hate about cdramas is the unnecessary dubbing. As if the actors/actresses are tonedeaf, why do…

I am on ep 6: The Story itself is not bad, but why is everyone so unprofessional in their job and why is the reporter FL included in the whole investigation? So far, I actually only enjoy maybe 30-40% of the drama, and I find every character quite unlikeable (and unprofessional).

Lol, for me it is the other way around😂 I binged through the first 20 eps and now I have to force myself to continue. I wouldn't be able to pinpoint the reason, though.
