Ep 24. Xiao ZhiYu was just a child when that incident happened, so making him bear the responsibility is wrong, tbh. I understand her parents’ reasoning for wanting her to break up with him, but he was a kid. That wasn’t his mistake. Watching her break down and cry broke me 🥹, for both of them, actually.
Also a moment of appropriation for Zhao Xiao and Gong they have their friends’ backs no matter what. Zhi Yu's coworkers sticking by him was great to see.

Just when I was beginning to have a little sympathy towards Pei Zhen but nope the apple doesn’t fall off too far from the tree.

I can only sympathize with Pei Zhen because of his relationship with his father. Pei Sr. is a terrible person who beats his adult son with a golf club. That's crazy.

I get it and I hate that ML mom saw her with it.
