I’m thinking they might have grown up together. Their dads started Zhuling together, and something happened to Zhi Yu’s dad, which is why he changed his name to find out the truth about his dad's death.

Hu Xiu got her revenge in the best way—clean and clear, with no chance for her ex or his mom to escape it. So satisfying! I really love that Zhi Yu let her have that moment. Now she finally has the closure she needed.

Yeah, he's a perfect example of someone who doesn't want others to get better at the same job he has.
