K-Drama
One of the main problems with Revamp is that it never quite settled into a singular genre and stuck with it. In the first couple of episodes I thought this show was going to be a romcom, it was very cute and funny and I was very much looking forward to cute vampire fluff, but then the genre shifted. Out of nowhere it changed into an action show and it was very intense and exciting, really had me on the edge of my seat. I happen to love fighting choreography so I wasn't mad about the change, just a bit confused... and then it changed to a family drama. No more fighting, romance on the back burner, Ramil cleaning the antique shop.... This change was definitely a choice that the script writers made.
With that being said though, the show still succeeded quite well in every genre it took up. The fluff was fluffy, the romance was steamy, the action was exciting, the drama was dramatic. It never flopped in whatever it was trying to be and I think that was wholly due to the great casting. GMMTV really brought in the best and every member did their best. I think the only actor that really got the short end of the stick was Prem/Punn. Everybody else was given one narrative, one genre for them to act in, but with Punn being the main character he unfortunately had to bounce around into different roles. One minute he's an antique's dealer, the next he's fighting vampire hunters, and then he's playing older brother, etc etc. Prem had a lot on his plate for this role and unfortunately this hampered his abilities. There were a few moments where he shined through--the intimate scenes with Boun were lovely, the five seconds we got to see him use a sword lol, and the cottage scenes were all done very well.
As for the ending, I really don't understand why everybody was hating on it. It made perfect sense to me. Ramil hated being a vampire--he never drank blood, kept shirking on his duties as the leader, not to mention with Mekhin's awful backstory I thought it made perfect sense that Ramil didn't want to turn Punn into a vampire, especially when there was a perfectly decent second option for them to take.
Also if there does happen to be a MarkJunior spinoff (which there likely won't be, but who knows), I would gladly pay to see Junior playing a more serious, bad boy type of character. l think he would be fantastic in that type of role and it would play off of Mark's prince character so well.
Overall, I gave the show a 7/10. I liked it, I think it could have been better if someone had bothered to trim down the script and make the story more cohesive, but it's still a watchable and enjoyable show.

Better than I thought it would be~
I was a bit unsure exactly what this series would be like. WeTV is very hit or miss with their series, but I saw a fan edit of it that convinced me to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. This series does a great job balancing humor, drama, romance, and action. Unlike a lot of other Thai BLs out there that really struggle to evenly showcase each genre Love of Silom hit every note just right. Nothing felt out of place, the pacing was excellent, the actors did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. There also wasn't a side couple to divert away from the main romance plot instead there are only side characters and they're all phenomenal. Even the characters I didn't like were still fun to watch on screen. I 100% recommend giving this series a shot. The few critiques I have for the show: I wish the brief period that Wayu worked as a police informant had been part of the plot more. He helps out for a couple episodes and then stops and everyone just pretends like it never happened. Admittedly I just really like action series so of course anything that plays more into that genre I'd prefer lol. The second critique is for the dances at the club, honestly they were kinda repetitive. I wish the choreographers had done a bit more and made the dances different from each other. Other than that I really liked this series, I thought it was great.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is it spicy? Weirdly enough no. Despite being about bar hosts/club dancers the sex scenes were all pretty mild. There are a few scenes that show bondage and sex toys, but it never shows them being used (besides as impromptu weapons lmao). The most spice the series has are the dances at the club which are essentially strip teases.
• Is there violence? Yes. There are multiple fight scenes that are actually decently done and sometimes result in bloodshed, a few noncon moments, there are scenes depicting human trafficking, and honestly Krit's dad was a dick the whole series and the main instigator of the emotional damage inflicted on the main characters.
• Is there a love triangle? Yes, but also no. Lets just say that the main characters had multiple love interests but they only ever had eyes for each other. They were practically beating the love rivals away with a stick lol.
Also, if you like the bar host/club dancer aspect of the series I'd recommend checking out Toy Boy. It's a Spanish drama on Netflix. The main characters are also dancers and the series does a great job depicting the work that goes into being a club dancer ie learning choreography, working with different concepts, and being hired for events. Toy Boy is a lot darker and dramatic as the story centers around an sa and murder mystery plot and the BL plot line is for the side characters not the mc, but it's still a pretty good watch. The BL was super cute, the only reason I wanted to watch the series in the first place lol, so even though it's not the main focus it was still worth sitting through everything else to watch that relationship unfold.

At least the music was good
To be fair I went into this knowing full well that this was plotless smut and so I had full expectations that what I would be watching would be trash lol. Sometimes I just want to watch some mindless trash though and not give anything too much thought. But genuinely even with the bar set low I still felt a little disappointed. The acting was not great, it improved throughout the series, but the beginning was very rough. The production quality looked like garbage, the first couple episodes were especially bad. I checked and then double checked that this series was made in 2025 cause the episodes looked like something from 2015, again it improved as the series progressed, it was around episode 4 when it started to look like a modern BL series filmed on an actual camera instead of on someone's phone. The sex scenes, which are meant to be the main focus of the series, were also not that great. They just looked messy tbh. None of the side couples piqued my interest either, I honestly wish the writers had opted to not have any and instead put more focus on SornJun, but I suppose there would have had to be an actual plotline for them to do that lol.
There were a few things I did like though. There was open communication about what type of relationship the couple would be having and when the feelings changed they openly told each other about it. Love to see it. Sorn turning into a complete simp for Jun was absolutely adorable. I adore a clingy/cuddly seme. Sorn's character development is seriously the main reason why I didn't rate this series a 5, I dedicated a whole star and a half for those hugs and forehead kisses. Lastly, the music selection. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the music in this series. It was clearly catering to an international audience since they were mostly english speaking songs. None of the songs were overplayed and there was a good variety of soft and fast paced songs which worked very well with the intimate scenes. I definitely plan to hunt down the names of them so I can add them to my playlist.
Also the special episodes, definitely better than the main series. If you manage to get through the 12 episodes of trash than I would recommend watching the 2 specials (I rated them a 7.5). They were much better quality and the sex scenes were much more fun to watch. If the energy they brought into the specials is what they bring into Knot than I'll definitely be looking forward to that series as well.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is it nsfw/spicy? Yes. It shows the full sex scenes (and there are a lot of them) even though it does not show any nudity from the waist down.
• Is there violence? Nope. No violence, no trauma, no tragic backstories, just two guys having a lot of sex.
• Is there noncon? Surprisingly, no. There are a few scenes where Sorn begins by forcing himself onto Jun (ie pushing him against a wall and kissing him), but he always asks for consent before they initiate any actual intimacy.
• Love triangles? Despite rampant jealousy and possessiveness, no there weren't any love triangles.
• Are the specials worth watching? Yes, read review above for more details.
• And the Beard? Don't worry it only lasts for a few seconds. Like jfc what was the style team doing to poor Boat? I don't even know how anyone kept a straight face during that scene.

Wasted potential.
It's really such a shame that this series started off so strong and then got diverted into half a dozen subplots and left the main couple in limbo for most of the series.I really enjoy slowburn romances and shounen-ai series so I wasn't upset by the lack of intimacy between Great and Dech. I honestly felt like the pacing of their relationship made sense considering how their relationship is at the beginning of the series. Watching it develop from enemies to lovers over such a long period made their love seem more organic and natural which is something I really liked. Leng is such an endearing actor and he played Great so well it really was impossible not to grow fond of him and August did such a great job portraying Dech as stern, but never overbearing or antagonistic. I think both actors did such a great job. I also really enjoyed the initial episode layout, spending the bulk of the episode in the past, but then taking 10-15 minutes at the end to dedicate to the present timeline. I really liked seeing how the present drama was unfolding while Great was stuck in the past, but unfortunately the writers chose to switch the format and we got too see less and less of the present storyline and the writers sidelined nearly all of the character in favor of showing more and more of Sri.
People like to throw around the word queerbaiting a lot on this website (usually targeted at shounen-ai series) but if you ask me this is what queerbaiting is. We were promised a time travel BL but instead we got a historical drama about a guy hung up on married women. Sri is an interesting character, but I didn't come here to watch a series about him. I came here to watch cute boys making out. The writers spent so much time on this one character who had nothing to do with the main plot that the show really suffered for it. All of the other side couple relationships were incredibly rushed, the subplot with Falcon was never even finished, and the ending was by far the most haphazardly put together ending I've ever seen, barely anything was explained.
For me this series could have easily been an 9 or even 9.5, but the obsessive focus on Sri bogged down the whole series. If you happen to like historical dramas and slowburn romances like I do than you'll probably like it about as much as I did or if you're a fan of the original hetero Love Destiny series and are interested in seeing the story include Sri than you might find this series worth the watch. But if you're here for yaoi and smut and couldn't care less about the historical figures being depicted here than you're not going to like this show. (Also just fair warning the ost for this series is hella overplayed, it's not that great of a song and it was on repeat for every single episode which was really annoying.)
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? Yes, there are a few spicy scenes with the side couples and one them was really well done (you'll know it when you see it).
• Is there a love triangle? Randomly enough there is. Why it's there I have no clue, it had no bearing on the plot.
• Is there violence/noncon? Yes, there are fighting scenes with swords and guns, some of which lead to bloodshed, and there are also scenes depicting animal cruelty.
• Is the original Love Destiny series and/or book worth watching/reading? Wouldn't know, haven't read or watched either of them. I know they're not BLs so if that's what you're after than the answer would be no.

TayNew are perfect for each other.
I really love TayNew's chemistry. They're perfectly sweet with just the right amount of spice to make them unforgettable. I remember falling in love with them while watching Cherry Magic and since then have loved watching all of their content with Polcasan and the rest of GMMTV. As much as I love TayNew though it unfortunately wasn't enough to make me really love this series. To be perfectly honest the pacing was slow and the plot was a bit boring. This series really could have been done in six episodes, but GMMTV really loves padding out their shows. Reinforcing this was the inclusion of a secondary couple which was entirely unnecessary. RyuMond seem cute and I wouldn't mind watching them as leads in their own series, but their subplot here was entirely nonsensical and had nothing to do with the main plot whatsoever so it wound up just being distracting and pointless. RyuMond aside though I really did enjoy the rest of the supporting cast, they were fun. I especially loved seeing Tui, I haven't seen him act in anything besides ThamePo so it was a delight to get to see him onscreen again.I'm sure people who absolutely adore comedies and slice of life series will love A Dog and a Plane, but it wasn't for me. I liked it well enough; the relationship building was solid, the conflict (even though boring) was realistic and relatable, but overall this series just never really captured my attention and truthfully I had to force myself just to watch the last couple of episodes. I hope TayNew's next series will be something more exciting.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is it spicy/nsfw? No. This series is very pg-13. There are a few dirty jokes and we get to see TayNew makeout (sometimes very passionately), but what happens behind closed doors stays behind closed doors.
• Is there violence? No. The show does depict medical emergencies, but there's no violence behind them.
• Is there a love triangle? At one point yes, but it's hardly the focus of the series, it only lasts a couple of episodes.

Not bad, but not perfect either.
I think my only problem with this series is that it feels like the filming was rushed. Like every scene feels like it was shot in one take and the actors weren't really given a chance to properly embody their characters and portray the emotions fully. Otherwise I really did like it. The cinematography and the setting were gorgeous, the plot was interesting enough and very different from other bls, the wardrobe was very pretty (I especially loved the outfits made for the Mudan tribe), and I think the actors did a decent job. I liked PearlPeak better in Moonlight, but this series is still a good watch. A solid 8/10 for me.As an aside, I find it hilarious that all through Moonlight I kept thinking that Peak's character must have some sort of healing pheromone because anytime he was away all of the characters would be on death's door, but then would get magically better the moment he came back. And for this series his character actually does have special pheromones lmao, really manifested that one.

Different from what I was expecting.
I was surprised by how much I ended up liking this series. Just goes to show that you can't always trust the MDL ratings. The series has a somewhat lower production quality than most BLs made around this time, but that never detracted from my enjoyment of the story. Despite the series being low budget it was shot quite well and the actors did decent jobs considering that most of these actors had almost no other works listed under their profiles. The story was very intriguing and even though I did guess the plot twist almost right away I wasn't quite sure to what extent I was right (if you watch it you'll understand what I mean), in that regard I really did keep second guessing myself while trying to unravel the mystery. The story itself was pretty spooky too, there were a few scenes where I was sitting straight up and clutching my blankets lol. It's really a perfect series to watch for Halloween season. I also really enjoyed the relationship between the main leads. Usually in series like these there's a lot of fast paced trauma bonding and then they go their separate ways by the end, but in this story the writers actually set aside time for the two to go on dates, spend time together, and actually get to know each other which I really appreciated (oh, and let me tell you ep. 6 is the episode to look forward to).
If I had to guess I'd say most people who didn't like this series were just confused about the lore. This isn't really the type of story where you have to put on your thinking cap and try to gather clues. Khen says multiple times that they're dreaming and there's ghost shenanigans on top of time traveling shenanigans so really this is the type of story where you kind of just have to throw logic out the window. Things kind of just happen and as the viewer we just have to go with it and let the story unfold how it wants to. With that being said I was still a bit disappointed by the ending (like literally just the last five minutes). It was a bit messy and confusing, I understand what the writers were wanting to do, but it just wasn't executed on screen very well. But still the entire rest of the story was pretty good and definitely worth the watch imo.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? No, it's very pg. There are scenes that hint at sex, but it never shows anything and clothes stay on at all times.
• Is there noncon or violence? Yes, there are a lot of violent scenes, lots of blood, and very graphic death scenes.
• Is there a love triangle? No.
• Is the series scary? Yes, not in a jump scare way, but in a there's a lot of horrible and confusing things happening sort of way that can make you feel anxious.
• Difference between cut and uncut? I haven't watched the cut version, but I saw complaints in the comments section on the cut version that the MLs didn't have any chemistry, which they definitely did in the uncut version so I will guess that it was relationship scenes between them that got cut.

JBL versus Thai BL:
I liked both versions of this story, they both have their pros and cons. The Japanese version is shorter which means the amount of time spent on the island is nearly the same as the time spent in the city. This creates a more balanced story in comparison to the Thai version imo, but also the shorter run time means that there's a lot of dialogue cut from the story. The Thai version spent a fair amount of time building the characters and exploring their backstories which is lost in the Japanese version. We are at best shown a brief snippet, given a few words of explanation, and then the story moves on. It's not bad, it's typical JBL storytelling, but if you're used to watching Thai BLs and aren't familiar with the the way JBLs are filmed than you probably won't like it as much the original. One thing I really did like about the Japanese version more than the Thai version was the music selection (which no one seems to be talking about). The song that stood out to me the most was I Want You to Stay by Victor Lundberg. There were a few other decent tracks which added a nice ambiance to the scenes, but I wasn't enamored enough with them to hunt down the titles and artists for them.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? Yes, the full sex scenes are shown and there are a few of them throughout.
• Is there noncon or violence? Yes, there are a few fight scenes which lead to blood shed and depictions of child abuse.
• Is there a love triangle? Nope.
• Should you watch the special episodes? Yes, they're cute.
• Should you watch the Thai version before watching this one? Actually no. I'd recommend watching the Japanese version first and then watching the Thai version. It's like the equivalent of reading a summary of the book before reading the book.

The reason why I love JBLs
Duty First, Kiss Later is everything I love about JBLs. It's cute, funny, it never took itself too seriously, but that never detracted from the romance and sometimes heartbreak between the two characters. JBLs just really have a way with balancing different emotions that BLs from other countries struggle with. From the first episode I was shocked and smiling like a fool from the first kiss scene, then sad and disheartened in the second episode, to laughing out loud because of the characters' shenanigans. The actors really did such an amazing job conveying their feelings and making these characters feel like real people even when they're being completely ridiculous.I really hope this series gets a second season because I could watch Takoi running around like an idiot and Shiono chasing after him all day.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series nsfw/spicy? No, the characters only have a couple of kiss scenes and nothing else.
• Is there noncon or violence? Yes, there are multiple fight scenes which lead to blood shed.
• Is there a love triangle? Yes, Takoi was out here releasing pheromones istg cause he had multiple love interests.
Also, if you liked this series, there's an old yaoi manga called Honto Yajuu which had a similar vibe to it except it's about a police officer and yakuza member. It is also very silly and cute, but Honto Yajuu is also relatively smutty tbh so if that's something you're interested in than you might enjoy reading it.

Lonely, sad, and lovely.
Our Youth was a series I started on a whim. I really didn't have any beforehand knowledge on what the series was going to be about besides what's written in the description which is rather short and vague. I came into the series thinking it would be somewhat similar to I Cannot Reach You, but was quickly disillusioned. Our Youth is a very sad story that delves into a lot of serious topics, the main one being child abuse. If I had known this before hand I probably wouldn't have watched it tbh. I don't really like watching sad dramas, but kudos to where they are deserved. The writers and director did a really great job depicting these problems and showing how teenagers might react to them. The actors also did a great job bringing the characters to life and making the story feel very believable. I enjoyed watching their budding relationship, but honestly I wasn't particularly happy with the ending/special episode. Even though the two characters do find their happy ending together, it still felt rather lonely. I know that's one of the themes of the story, but this series was made in 2024 and the characters were acting like it's 2014 when it comes to people's views on homosexuality. I really didn't understand why the writers chose to have the characters stay in the closet, especially considering that one of the problems the characters faced was loneliness/isolation, so to end the story without them fully overcoming that felt like a bit of a let down even if their relationship at the end was very sweet and lovely.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? No, there are only a handful of kissing scenes, no nc scenes.
• Is there violence or noncon? Yes, this show depicts child abuse in its entirety and shows bloodshed.
• Is there a love triangle? No.
• Is the special episode worth watch? Yes, it concludes the story.

The writers bit off more than they could chew.
After reading reviews the number one complaint that I kept seeing pop up was the past and present timelines being told side by side, but I actually really liked this sort of frame narrative because typically when we have a reincarnation or time travel BL the story almost exclusively focuses on only one timeline/one story at a time and the other timeline only gets a few minutes at the beginning and/or ending of the series. With the two stories being told side by side though the audience is able to compare and contrast the characters and the relationships better. Unfortunately, the writers here got very hung up on explaining the past lives because around mid season the story's focus shifts more and more on to the past timeline and we only get a few snippets here and there of the present timeline. The storytelling became unbalanced and all of the problems and subplots from the present timeline were quietly swept under the rug which was very unfortunate. I wish they had explored more of the ghost powers, shown more of the temple and monks, discussed the relationship between Sin, Saen, and Ruedee, taken more care to explain the reincarnations, and actually taken the time to develop the relationship between present day Kaewta and Khun Yai. With that being said though the story that was told here was very lovely and moving, the death scenes from their past lives made me tear up and I was so excited when Kaewta and Khun Yai finally got their happy ending. The actors did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and you can tell that the production team put in a lot of effort and care to build the setting. I think if they had kept the past timeline as only brief moments told through dream sequences for the audience to piece together the story would have been better off, but I still really liked it and I can understand why the writer's wanted to fully explain the past timeline, because there was a lot of emotional baggage to unpack from that side of the story, but it hindered the present timeline story from being told the way it should have been. Overall though, I definitely recommend giving this series a watch if historical dramas with a sprinkle of fantasy are your jam.General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is the series nsfw/spicy? Yes, the intimate scenes are fully shown and we get to see naked butts.
• Is there violence/noncon? Yes, there are fighting sequences, murders, suicides, a whole lot of emotional trauma, and a very brief noncon scene.
• Is there a love triangle? Yes, unfortunately. It becomes a whole thing.

Not great and not just because of the bad sex.
I think anyone coming into this series would have to be illiterate to not know about the bad nc scenes, but since I am fully literate I was prepared and ready to watch what has been described over and over again in the comments section and other reviews as the worst nc scenes in the history of bl. I will say that sex scenes in jbls are pretty rare and in the handful of jbls I've seen with spicy content none of the sex scenes have ever been good so even without reading the comments I would have known not to expect too much. With that being said, these sex scenes were atrocious. Legitimately, I don't think the actors workshopped or had an intimacy coordinator on set. Their sex chemistry was 0 points. For the majority of the nc scenes neither of the actors seemed to even want to actually touch each other--they were constantly bundled up in bath robes, clothes, blankets... They seemed pretty deadset on having a physical barrier between them throughout the scenes which begs the question why they were even doing them in the first place. From my understanding this series is based off of a manga and an anime so the actors should have had a clue in on what the content of the show was going to be like so why did they sign up for it if they weren't comfortable with filming nc scenes?Next problem (and I will admit this was entirely my own bad), I was expecting Fukami to be a slutty uke. He's not. He says early on that he doesn't like dating apps or random hookups with strangers, he only likes having sex with people he knows. Even if these are just casual relationships, it's hardly 'naughty' imo. He doesn't have any kinks (at least none that were talked about in the show), was against bondage, and only has vanilla sex. So apparently the only reason why he's naughty is because he looks pretty when he takes his glasses off which was very disappointing to realize. I really like characters that have hidden personalities and I was expecting Fukami to go from shy nerd to sexy slut, but no, that was not the case. He is a shy nerd through and through. I supposed I could have done my research on the matter before jumping in with this expectation, but the title is Naughty Fukami, who would have thought that he isn't actually naughty in any sense of the word.
Last beef with the series. I really hated the formatting and pacing. I get that week to week releases makes more money for companies since it requires viewers to renew their subscriptions to keep watching, but that doesn't mean the show needs to be filmed like a tv series, just make a movie and cut it up into small pieces. Having to watch 10 mini plots play out, with a lot of rehashed drama I might add, was so tedious. The show didn't need to have that many sex scenes or that many break up arcs. Every episode played out the same story with slight variations and it was boring. It would have worked out way better if there had just been one singular story arc that was stretched across the series instead of this sorta episodic format that presented the couple with weekly problems.
Now, was there anything I liked about the show? I guess I liked the actors, Kaji looked like a chubby little hamster and Fukami like a little mouse and I thought that was cute. Nc scenes aside, I thought they did a decent job in their roles, especially the heartfelt and crying scenes.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is it spicy/nsfw? Yes, the series show the full sex scenes, but there's barely any nudity for... reasons.
• Is there a love triangle? Nope.
• Is there noncon or violence? Nope.
• Is the anime or manga worth watching/reading? Wouldn't know, haven't seen either of them and I'm probably not ever going to.

What was this for?
*Contains spoilers from I Feel You Linger in the Air*After finishing I Feel You Linger in the Air I immediately watched this and I was more than confused. I'm aware that most special episodes tend to just be a little side story with some extra fluff or spice, but this episode just made no sense to me. For starters Linger ended with us never seeing any of the side characters' reincarnations, Jom and Yai only reuniting in the last minute, and Jom randomly being sent back to the past again to meet another reincarnation of Yai after the end credits. So there was plenty of material for the writers to delve into for the special episode, but then for some reason they just chose to not?? Instead the ending of Linger is completely retconned, were made to believe that Jom and Yai never reunited, and we don't get to see a single other character from Linger in the special.
The producers could have said this episode was for literally anything besides being a special for Linger because other than the main characters sharing names this had nothing to do with Linger. Even the setting made no sense, Jom promised Yai that he'd wait for him at their house in Chiang Mai so why is he now living in Bangkok? I was so confused that I actually started wondering at one point if this was supposed to be an advertisement for the products they were playing around with in the episode and that's why the story was so weird.
This one completely missed the mark and is really not worth watching if you're interested in a continuation of Linger. Treating it as a standalone episode though, not related to Linger, it was cute. A character traveling from past to future is not a common occurrence so it was interesting to see that play out and Jom and Yai's date looked fun. Pretending this is just a random oneshot that has noting to do with Linger is really the only way to enjoy this episode otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Short and sweet
I liked this movie well enough. I don't typically go for movies, but I didn't feel like starting a whole series so this was able to perfectly scratch my BL itch. This is my first time watching ZeeNunew in a BL and I thought they were very sweet. A lot of the comments on the cut version complain about the relationship building to be very abrupt, but I think for the uncut version it was fine considering it's only a two hour movie. I think my only complaint is that I wish it had been scarier lol, it started off pretty strong, but then kind of weakened at the end. Overall though I enjoyed it, it wasn't anything spectacular, but it wasn't horrible either. A decent watch for anyone wanting to watch a horror BL.As an aside, that bed they were sleeping on was gorgeously carved, I kept ogling it every time it came into frame.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Is it NSFW/spicy? No, this movie is very SFW. The most nudity we get is ZeeNunew taking their shirts off.
• Is there violence/gore? A little bit, not anything to stress about though. Nunew's character gets injured multiple times throughout the movie via accidents/ghost shenanigans and there's a small fight scene at the end of the movie.
• Is it scary? Not really. The movie has a couple jump scares, but it's more eerie and has an unsettling ambience rather than being actually scary.
• Is there singing? It's a ZeeNunew, of course there's singing.

If you can get through the noncon fetish....
This series was surprisingly cute. I'd already seen BossNoeul in Boy Next World and I was curious about FortPeat so I decided to give this one a try. The series is broken up into two different stories, eps 1-7 are for BossNouel/PayuRain and eps 8-13 are for FortPeat/PrapaiSky and there's a 14th special episode which features all of them.PayuRain eps: As much I loathe the noncon fetish (I know some people like it, but it's defs not for me), once the story moved past that the relationship was actually really cute. I liked that Payu and Rain set clear boundaries early on in their relationship to help manage their love, school, and work lives. There wasn't any major conflicts in their story either which I personally liked, the plot conflict was them trying to understand each other and build a relationship. I'm not a fan of overly convoluted storylines so the straightforwardness of the story appealed to me. Another thing I liked (strangely enough for me) were the sex scenes. I will fully admit that I often skip sex scenes. Even if a couple has good chemistry, if the director would rather film the scene like its some kind of fantasy than it's not for me; I hate it when there's over the top music, when the camera bounces around to different body parts, and the scene has weird edits (I'm looking at you DMD). This thankfully was nothing like that, it was very straightforward, very realistic, normal sex. I also liked that Rain was an active participant during the scenes. Usually childish uke are treated like dolls and act very shy during intimate scenes so it was refreshing to see Rain act like a regular guy wanting to have sex.
As an aside, the background characters in this story were wilding istg. There was literally a character who randomly started licking a pen. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
PrapaiSky eps: Again, noncon fetish alert, but again very short lived (I seriously don't understand the appeal). I definitely enjoyed this couple much more than PayuRain. Sky is more mature and reserved than Rain, but still very sweet and friendly. A very cute combo imo so I immediately took a liking to this character. The main conflict in this story was Sky trying to overcome his emotional trauma and open up to Prapai. The trauma backstory was very heavy which involved verbal and physical abuse and sa. As much as I liked the characters I'm a bit back and forth on the story line. On one hand I liked that they portrayed Sky's trauma realistically ie, once he and Prapai started going steady the trauma didn't magically go away. Sky still had anxiety, still had nightmares, still had trust issues. Real trauma takes time to heal and getting a boyfriend isn't a magic solution and I'm glad that they showed that here. What I didn't like though was the way it was all dumped out. Admittedly they only had 6 episodes, there wasn't much room for the writers to ease into the topic, but I still feel like it could have been handled better than it was. Also, to be completely honest, I didn't like Peat's crying scenes. I get that crying is a very difficult skill for actors to learn so I didn't let it affect my rating, but seriously all of Peat's crying scenes were not great and he had a lot of them. Fort only had a couple crying scenes and they were way better. It didn't detract from the story though and like I said I enjoyed these characters a lot. The relationship building between Prapai and Sky was super cute.
I think my biggest critique for this series was the ending. It was very abrupt. I was actually very confused and thought that the 14th ep was to continue the storyline only to start watching it and realize that it was just a side story and completely unrelated. Not that the series ends on a cliffhanger, but it still felt not fully finished.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Are the stories overlapping? Yes. I would recommend watching the whole show in its entirety rather than skip to just the story you want to watch. All four characters pop in and out of each other's stories enough that I think it would be confusing if you just watched one story or watched them out of order.
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? Yes. But it's very well done imo. The scenes were a good balance between realism and censorship. We don't see any nudity from the waist down, the scenes last a normal duration, and we see the characters using condoms.
• Is there violence? Yes! Both stories have violence which involved fighting that leads to blood shed, kidnapping, physical and emotional abuse, and sa. (If you're someone easily trigged than I'd recommend giving this series a pass.)
• Is the special episode worth watching? Sure. If you liked the series than watch the special as well. It's not relevant to the main plot, it's just a side story/beach episode that's mostly for spice. We also get to see sassy Sky/Peat though which I admit had me grinning like an idiot. It was a fun watch.
