Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought it was absolutely ridiculous to see Jiwon walking around in 6-inch…
Funnily enough, in the manwha, she changed her shoes for a lower and more comfortable one.

when my daughter turns 17y+, I will definitely recommend her watching. This drama would be a good education media…
Perhaps you should show her the manwha, now. Jiwon was being manipulated at a young age. She could learn how to spot a Sumin.

This show was great until the unnecessary breakup. I understand Ji Won has trauma, but that doesn’t justify…
What? She should dedicate herself to her killer? She shouldn’t have to. She would’ve left him quickly if it was safe to do so. I don’t see her behaviour as flirting. She is simply accepting kindness that she had previously rejected, Therefore isolating herself.

Most Kdramas are great until the unnecessary breakup🥺 hopefully we see less and less of this trope in the future.

Look, I understand how you feel but there are most of the times where male leads are like that too. I mean a lot…
EXACTLY! People only feel outraged when a woman does it.

I hope that she escapes that horrible husband one day. I don’t care if he begin to like her or feel guilty AFTER being horrible to her, and treating her like an object. I pray and hope that she leaves.

That last episode made me drop it from an 8 rating to a 2. Worst writing I've seen in a K drama in a long time.…
Me too.

Title Doctor Cha Spoiler
This drama was used to promote propaganda and it did a good job of luring you in using justice and revenge themes. This is probably one of those "good Korean woman values" again, get married, have a child, life for your family, serve your husband and don't hinder or cause him inconvenience, put your desires aside, hobbies, sexual desires, ambitions, job, if it hinders you from taking care of your family, because that is your role/job as a woman. And if there is ever a divorce, your life if not meant to be to fulfil your own selfish desires, you are meant to live for your children and still pick up the pieces of your past marriage, like caring for ex-in-laws until they feel like you should stop, or have had enough of you, like in Encounter, where Cha Soo Yon, kept having to visit her ex in-laws even after the divorce. Even in court in Encounter, the divorce favoured this "value", except that Encounter was about going against these "values" , and fulfilling your desires, from freedom all the way to sexual desires and a loving relationship. It seems Korea is reigning women's freedom in again.

pretty sure the father was the actor by the way doctor cha was reacting to his drama. I think the girl just wanted…
Another story about a woman sacrificing herself for her baby and father of baby. She didn't want to put herself first for once, and let her family hit her just to hide the fact that the actor was the father. She did everything for others and bowed out respectfully after protecting his career. He didn't have to take any responsibility, or be there for her when she was dying, and she even had the baby at the risk of her own life just to give her to her family. SHE WAS DYING, buy She didn't cry, demand anything or do anything to life. It's as if her life was just there to serve and protect others. This is probably one of those "good Korean woman values" again.

Looked promising at the start but sucked towards the end. What was the point they were trying to make? That cheaters…
EXACTLY! You said it perfectly! I fell like they made it seem like she will get justice for herself just to lure you in, and then ouch these "values" into women. I think they were targeting fans of The glory, and justice revenge stories.

The mother, After taking advantage of her for years, took many loans out in her name and she doesn't get taken to court? she has to forgive her, because good Korean woman values is not causing conflict with family and forgiving them?

They lured you in with the promise of vengeance but changed that halfway through and pushed this Korean woman values of sacrificing yourself for the good if your family because that is her role, even sacrifising justice towards the cheating husband for a more "harmonious" approach.

WHAT?!!! I cannot believe that the created a drama out of the Manwha. You lot should read the manga, you will never be able to sleep. It's almost the same but the characters looks different, and more is explored there. It is phenomenal.

It was Eun soo's own fault for harrassing Ji Rang like she did. Ji rang did nothing to her to deserve it, she shouldn't feel guilty for Eun soo's injury.
