I hate how Pat made had his sister doing stuff for him, instead of doing it himself. Disgusting. I feel bad for the sister.

Why is it that at the beginning of every drama, the male lead has to be arrogant to the female lead, and then they go on to have the best romance, like is it a turn on in the formula? Would he die from not being arrogant? Like... they always have to make her a respectable woman, then have him break her down and make her look like an idiot. Think ALL 'great' romance dramas?

Kurosawa is incredibly respectful! He's not an "I come first" kind of guy.

I'm glad that as the episodes went on, Adachi stopped seeing at least one woman as just a "pretty girl", and stopped dismissing her feelings about him as a popularity trip, whilst considering that of his male colleagues as something to take seriously. I'm really glad he grew out of that phase quickly, and the female lead was still written to be unchangingly herself instead of conforming to some mans standard.
