11 episodes in, and I am hanging on by a WEAK, magnetic attraction. If someone tries to convince me that all the male characters of dramas aren't walking TRASH, .... (to put it lightly, you should leave). The female main character's anger, each time is justified, his isn't. Still isn't. Her's is amazing, sad but amazing! Once because, until it was found out that she was't dying her reality was that she was, and it was because of him. Of course, she should shake his whole world, but literally, she only broke a few things and treated him workers kindly with his money, and fed him fish and onions. He is just trash, and he proves that, over and over and over again, even when he found out why she did everything, he's just existing trash. But that's just a male main character right?
They're really trying so hard to paint the woman as the bad person here. She gave him his all because she loved him and he just took it all and dated her because he decided all on his own what type of person she was and what she wanted, making her seem superficial instead of a real person with complexities., about "she's s princess..." and all that BS. And the way they treat her death, her lack of sympathy for someone she's never met (cus woman are supposed to be soft, and kind and caring and motherly..., disgusting), and I so LOVE how they are trying to portray her hitting that Grim reaper as abusive, you know, the same abusive that men are to woman? Sickening. They way they treat her love too, and her as a person, disposable, temporary, replaceable, a temporary phase for the main guy to use to get to his love interest.
I hope her character's just GREAT throughout the whole drama and doesn't get stumped on by the main male, or lectured, or embarrassed et or anything that puts him above her (or makes her seem childish and immature or lesser or like she is in the wrong, cus even if she's RUDE, she owns it) in the first half like all great and powerful female characters get. I hope she's just herself, undisturbed, even if the main guy falls for her.
There's a lot of victim blaming going on! And a lot of what's the big deal about her she isn't that fascinating or "likeable", that idea that women should have something to offer to be in a relationship or liked. I mean what are they, food products?!
Also woman (Moriyama): No I don't want to date you. I want someone my age. etc. Guy (Mayuki): *ignore* *ignore* It's not that hard to listen to a woman.
Xiang wan was a typical BL drama fool! The type that learns that the person they like cannot do a certain thing because it will ruin their whole life and then proceeds to coerce them into it, and then their whole life goes up in flames, along with others that were relying on their. And then they start being clingy again trying to apologise, or getting angry like it wasn't their fault, like they didn't know. I see too many of those characters.
Guy (Mayuki): *ignore* *ignore*
It's not that hard to listen to a woman.
Guy: oh my goodness look at that tree!!!.....
