Least favorite 2 episodes of the entire drama for me. Thank God for Buxiu though.

Honestly it's the writer's loss. People remember if a writer's views are immature, specially if repeated. I know I do.

So in the end, not only did the narrative gloss over JBZ's pain, but also through Zhang Tai's character, it even delivered a slap to the face of anyone expecting anything? Disappointing.

"be of one mind" is a too general. They could be of one mind while protecting the innocent. No one knows the specifics.
From his pov, her ultimate priority is Ming Xian, her lover. She might or might not have developed feelings for him. But by trying to steal the GMD right after they slept together, it's proved to him that she still put Ming Xian first.

Easy to say from the omniscient pov. Her made up story is pretty convincing.

Yeah I agree. Honestly I want to understand her character, that's why I discuss this, not because I like arguments.

Yes, they started as mutually using each other. Quite cleverly too, because in the end both won. But now it's just her toying with his feeling while he's being genuine. And not even in a smart way, so naturally everyone suffers.

I like MY, and understand all of her choices in an either logical or ethical right. But not telling him she's poisoned is the only thing I can't figure out. I read every discussion there is, but I'm not convinced. So I'm gonna go ahead and blame writers for covering their own shortcomings at the expense of FL's character development. They always do that anyway.

You're most probably right. Her having to wear a male appearance is strongly hinted to be her mother's choice. More layer to her character. Even though it's hard to imagine a martial arts teacher wouldn't realize he's training a girl, not a boy.

Missing my point. She was a female and altered her appearance to appear male. That was the extent of her deception towards her master. Not the same with JBZ.

Unexpected? She was planning for him to fall for her. She just hadn't counted on his unusual vigilance and experience with betrayals. A fact she's constantly neglecting.

Her teacher isn't her lover lol He doesn't have her antidote, she didn't seduce him and she's not toying with his emotions and trust. She basically cross-dressed in front of him and that's all.

You're essentially just repeating your previous comment, so I'm not gonna repeat mine.

First, because she's repeatedly confirmed she loves and trusts him.

Second, because attempting to steal the GMD atp seems even riskier than telling him she's poisoned or making up some story. It's sealed with his blood and she's no murderer. And he doesn't know she needs it for herself. If for example, he destroys the GMD in a fit of anger, she's doomed.

It's senseless. Both ethically and logically.
