Then they're wrong. Imo she's not selfish. But she's not considerate of his feelings either. About spies. Come one. JBZ already knows there are spies. They talk about their plans in private all the time, so it's clearly safe. And are there spies in his spirit we'll too? No offense but what a lame excuse.

No one's accusing her of being selfish. Her not sharing her immediate problem with JBZ and insisting on stealing from him instead, when the guy's traumatized by betrayal is, idk, stupid? weird? And more so after episode 19
Yeah this had been feeling like a FL centric drama.
I don't think your English is bad. Maybe I didn't get the joke because main leads and who/what the center of the story is are two different things in my book. Till The End of The Moon's protagonist was FL but the story was about the ML. Moonlight Mystique had a female protagonist and the story centered mostly around the FL. FoF's protagonist was the ML and was about the ML.

Wait. I wrote that reply months ago π³ lol this is Anyway. I fully agree that the directing is disjointed (idk what exactly to call it) in a weird way. Now that I've seen the director's other works in the making, it's clear why.
About Yuanzhou (if you mean him by ML), maybe my mind isn't clear and don't fully understand you, otherwise I'd say our worldviews are completely different, because your reply is partially how I feel about Yichen. Specially the last part. To me it felt like Yuanzhou almost never lost sight of them (except some weird writing on Yinglei), while they never truly saw him.
But if you mean that at some point forward, Yuanzhou's personal story detached from the rest of the leads' personal stories, I felt something like that too.

Yinglei deserved better is true. Him and Baijiu sacrificed without hesitation, unlike Wenxiao and Yichen. But you're weird if you think anyone sacrificed more than Yuanzhou.
Main couple barely had any moments, scenes were super edited and cut but I still ship them hard. And then, the…
You are completely right. I also appreciate their subtle romance. It's rare in dramas. I like the variety of relationships in this too. It's quite unique actually. But it only makes it more of a shame that they were neglected.
The focus shift was fun at first but it's overstaying its welcome. Interesting and fresh characters and relationships are left underexplored, while generic ones are overexplored. Main couple and Wenxiao barely have any moments. Originally I thought Baijiu and Yuanzhou's relationship was intended to go somewhere, since it had a lot of potential. The two male leads relationship is touching and interesting, but it shouldn't have become the only thing that keeps me going. Feels like everything that doesn't involve Yichen is left unattended to.
