I assume you mean Yichen (kindly correct me if I'm wrong). Is Yichen only bad at speaking his emotions with Yuanzhou? Because what he said to Baijiu was pretty nice and poetic. He didn't seem to have trouble then.

It's sort of victim blaming at this point. And it's disturbing because it's starting to feel like they willingly let him continue to blame himself and feel like his life is worth less.

It looked like he wronged the whole group and that's why he's sorry, not because he put Yuanzhou's life in grave danger.
Yichen's speech was touching, but it sounded kind of hypocritical, when it's been several episodes and they still haven't even acknowledged to Yuanzhou that it was in fact, not his fault and he's also the victim. Where were these pretty words when Yuanzhou broke down and showed vulnerability, yet Yichen accused him of seeking pity?

This drama looks and sounds gorgeous, but the way male lead is treated is disturbing. It's not enough to bear the weight and torture of people's hatred and malice, he also has to put up with their hurtful words, every time he's given a break.
