So theres a purpose why they showed so much lovey dovey scenes of Park Jin and Kim Doju. They seemed like fillers, but this is for the Show to give us this whiplash at the end.
Too much of a good thing for 9 episodes will bring sadness at the end. I'm just hoping too much of suffering will bring us happiness in the end for Uk and Naksu.
I'm still eager to wait for ep10. The direction of the story might not be to the liking of everyone, but here I am accepting what the writers had in store for us. A lot could still happen in ep10.

Thankful for this forum that made my wait every week bearable. 😊 I made it a point to watch a series after all the episodes are out or already near end because I hate the struggle of waiting on what will happen next (last time I watched a series while airing from start to finish was for The Tale of Nokdu). Binged part 1 of AoS after the official broadcast and that made me impatient so I watched Part 2 right away! 😅

Because he's there but not really there. 😁 he loves giving riddles when he could convey a message direct to the point. He's the one with the biggest communication problem for a man who is over a hundred years old. I cant really say it's generation gap. For me, it gets better. The story is complicated enough that you will be pushed to think and make your own theories. I'm currently watching Part 2 and I cant even predict how this is going to end. What I liked the most is that this gives me a dose of laughter every now and then, especially Danggu and the Crown Prince. The CP's scenes are even funnier in Part 2.
I picked this up as I'm also a fan of crime/thriller/mystery series. Since this had season 2, I thought season 1 must be so good to warrant a sequel. But for some reason, I cant immerse into the story. It felt so slow... some of the scenes are nonsensical and I blame the director for that. I only finished this just for the sake of finishing it and find out who killed who. Everything in between was blah. I wasnt thrilled at all. I normally finish a crime series for 2 to 3 days. For this, it took me about three weeks.
Maybe I was looking for a variety of cases. Maybe I already watched other good crime series that I already find this sub par for me. Not really sure why I didnt enjoy this.
When was the last time TVN ig has kiss scene that exceed 1 million view? I have never followed TVN until AoS2…
I saw last makeout session similar to that was with Whats Wrong With Secretary Kim (another drama from director Park Jun Hwa) and Her Private Life (though I'm not really a fan of HPL). Not sure if they reached over a million views but those were as intimate.

Havent you heard? Naksu will shift into CP's body in Part 3 since he is willing to share everything with Naksu. So CP and Uk will have their happy ending in Part 3. 😜✌️
