While everyone focused on Buyeon and Naksu, may I just say I feel bad for Park Danggu. With that opening and closing of doors, his facial expressions paint a thousand words. :(
Nice :) a mix of The Uncanny Counter and Hotel del Luna. I hated the female lead in her other dramas, but at least she showed versatility here. I appreciate her more on the serious side.
Can you please tell me more about Kim Hye Joon character in this one....I don't mind spoilers...
She's a believable psycho and a serial killer. Thats all i can remember. It's been months since I watched this one. Not one of the dramas worth remembering. Haha.
Just my opinion - I think when the Queen said "I dont trust you", she meant on the context that she's worried…
Yeah, u could also see it like that. :) I feel bad for them. Consort Hwang was drinking cold tea. She only finds warmth in his son's hands. Thats how I reflected on that scene. The last look from the Queen, I interpret it as she was thinking of Queen Yoon - how is she doing. So the next scene is Queen Yoon struggling to live.
I can’t believe it has ended 😭😭 I enjoyed every bit of this drama especially the relationship of mother-child❤️❤️❤️
Same here. I really like how they focused on relationships between mothers and children. I just feel bad for Cohort Hwang. She's been drinking cold tea, and the only thing she finds warmth is his son's hands. I know she deserved it, but it also broke my heart. I'm just glad that even she somewhat lost her mind and seemed to forget the people and what happened in the palace, her son's well being is still her upmost priority.
I'm glad that the King proved that he cares about Prince Uiseong as a father despite everything. I'm a bit disappointed…
Just my opinion - I think when the Queen said "I dont trust you", she meant on the context that she's worried that Prince Uiseong might commit suicide because theres something wrong with his mom, he killed his own father and lost privileges. Thats why after saying "I dont trust you", this was followed by saying he should not give up and should hold out for the sake of his mom.
So is our CPSN still the CP or the Grand Heir will eventually become the King? Which is which? 'Protect the palace,…
Though not explicitly, SN will handle the CP role until the nephew comes to the right age to become the new Crown Prince as initially planned. Both the Queen and SN held onto their positions so that the nephew will one day inherit the throne. SN did not intend to be the king, as respect for his older brother.
This is the significance of the scene when the Queen was sheltering the young prince with an "umbrella". SN also let the young prince wear his CP cap saying it suited him. They did all these for the late CP (SN's bro). SN also wished for a daughter instead of a son. So there would be no conflict later on, I think. :)
Can you explain the ending to me guys? The king reinstated everyone right? What happen to Queen Yoon whats her…
Queen Yoon - reinstated to being a noble

Hwang grand prince - who do you mean? Son of consort Hwang? It's the promise of the Queen to let him live. If you mean the gay prince - he wanted to explore the world. He cant be himself if he's locked up inside the palace. He wanted to feel free of any judgement.
Guys helpI dont understand and need clarifications, dont get mad.If Toji is royal phys who look after prince taein,…
There's nothing wrong with Toji's prescriptions to both princes (Taein & SN's bro). By that time he was helping SN with the prescription, he didnt know it was the late CP he was treating. He was also the one who told SN to stop acupuncture.
As to former CP Taein, though Toji was the royal physician, theres another physician (currently head of royal physicians) who actually gave the poison by the order of QD. Toji didnt do anything bad to CP Taein. By end of episode 14, Kwon poisoned the said physician same way the latter poisoned his older brother.
Though Toji knows that Kwon killed the late CP (SN's bro) thru poison, he dismissed this as this is part of their grand plan to oust the current dynasty to bring back the former dynasty.
Bottomline is - Toji was and is still loyal to the deposed queen to the point that he exchanged his own son in place of Kwon at her residence.

I just didnt understand the ending for Consort Hwang. Did she lose her mind?
